What decks are you playing during the last day of old Gwent?

+
I guess for a lot of people it can be decks that they will miss in HC. I know it is for me.

I am wrapping this up with Spies and Reveal on my account :) the deck I started with is also the deck I am ending my old Gwent tenure with

What decks are you finishing this final day of old gwent with?

Mostly Dol Blathanna Sentries (I refuse to call it Spell'atel, cause it sounds to me like those ridiculous celebrity couple nicknames that only teenage girls and tabloids use :p)

It was my first deck that was both fun and also kinda worked after my futile struggle to make my poor Wild Hunt bunch non-horrible.

At the start of the season I played mainly with ST weather movement and Eredin frost, the decks I started my Gwent journey but today I pretty much played every deck I can get my hands on (except SK ... I am sick of that faction.)

@partci ... A moment ago, I met you on casual and you were playing a reveal mill deck while I was swapping elves with eithne, a super thin deck. You won with 3 card advantage, AND YOU DIDN'T GG ME. My feeling is hurt! I am just joking :D Good game.

Elf handbuff with swordmasters.

It's really not competetive now so I'm sticking to casual, but it was one of the decks I had most fun with in the past.

Sorry! @mli_dragon (why no mill_dragon?)

... but it is my policy not to GG. And I blame Gwent for this.

Also, I realized that it was you a bit late, like when I was clicking the last button (I usually don't pay attention against who am I playing). As I recall, you escaped screaming... well, like 99% of my games when I milled someone tonight (which was 13 out of 15 games - Mill is meta in Casual, BTW).

Ah it was fine. I figured. LOL, well mill is the nemesis of super thin decks, so it got slaughtered by Sweer. I never got into playing NG. It was the faction that I milled to get a ST movement deck then it took me awhile to get a playable NG deck, but I concluded my Gwent beta journey with a NG alchemy deck. What about you? Only mill?

Actually, i had already played everything this week, today only played scoia, a couple of decks that didnt really work well:

1. the first was a Filavandrel, 50% spell 50% movement, but it didnt really work, im not that good building scoia decks (my least favourite faction)

2. did a deck devoted to Triss Butterflies, with as most 3pt units as possible (in Scoia, swarming with 3pts units is more effective, while in Mo is obviously better with 1pt units)
used Marching Orders so she comes to board at 10 pts and is not immediately thundered, and Renewed for when she gets killed, but still lost most times, facing opponents with massive damage

Hm ranked my burning potion eithne deck with resets and 4 burn cards

Fila Ambush casual deck ... one of my favourites .. while i often lose because i have a not flipped ambush card ^^

Dwarfs and a ng ihuarrquax deck I like. Whether I win or lose, getting that unicorn to activate is super satisfying

Actually yes, apart from the daily quests. Come to think of it - last three, four months I've been playing exclusively with NG.

Here's my main climbing deck (the GS Slayer): https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53814-on-the-spott/edit-guide

My second main, it's like tempo Calveit but relying only on Scorpions - no Daerlans. I found them losing me more games than anything: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53815-jan-scorpion

The Mill fiesta starring my Weather Control ReVVile: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53816-revvile

My pretty decent Re Re ReMILL (netdeckie v107.1876) - this one maybe relies more on the "SURPRISE - I'M MILL!" factor than the others: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53817-re-re-remill

Tried and the Sweersthisius combo - although a bit meme-ickie, when it works it's just like it's an insta-forfeit most of the time. Yrden may turn one really underestimated card at the end - it ended usually be anything between 20 and 40+ in every game with this deck: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53818-sweerthisius

My mighty-mighty Tyborg deck (you can call it a top-top secret mill too - can REALLY surprise some folks there at the end xD: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53819-mighty-mighty-tyborg

As you can see, Morvran turned to be my favorite Leader - I love his pro-active opener, I think it's criminally underrated... plus he can give some pretty valuable info of your opponent's hand. I know, Calveit is more flexible, but I hate the fact how meta he is for every single NG deck. Thus said - I love Emhyr and I hate that the last 3-4 months I almost never used him for any of my NG decks... :(

Other ones:

My Eredin TOP SECRET META DECK, which I never gave it's proper farewell - the one I got GM with and was working like a charm since before Mid-Winter Fiasco (!!!). The finisher combo is just stupendously insane. I actually spoiled it far back in time here in the forum, when I was building it, sorta like a joke - the fun I had with this guy... fell of a cliff last three months. The tempo swings became just insanely big to make him keep up on Blue. I don't know how this happened, but if you try to play this now, you'll probably get slaughtered in most of the games. Works charms against GS though, keep that in mind - love this deck: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53820-bamboozelin-v2-0

A Tasty Sabbath. It's kinda not good but I really enjoy playing with it. It's fun and kinda bamboozelish: https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53823-tasty-sabbath

For SK when I wanted consistency I was going for Vets - never been a fan of GS and avoided them like the plague, but I also had couple of pretty decent weird ones like those two - Something Controlololol (it got some modifications there at the end, like Eskel for Muzzle, but whatever): https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53821-something-contrololol

And Maiden and Bears Fair (this one I found works better than the previous one): https://www.gwentdb.com/decks/53822-maiden-and-bears-fair

ST fell off a cliff with the Dorfs metas and the introduction of Shupe for me, but usually I LOVED playing the Ocvist Handbuff deck and Eithne HEAVY control.

I loved NR during CB and maybe early OB, but I find this faction so boring for the last year that I almost do not bother. I liked a budget swarm deck that I built at work and used FOLTEST as a finisher, but hadn't bother to play at work for months now... Also - I DESPISE Henselt. Those metas with him on top - those were on par with the Dorfs BS metas. NEVER GG A HENSELT PLAYER, guys!

Actually - NEVER GG, PERIOD!

I have barely played much the last few months, dislike removal so I decided to allow opponents engine cards to boost up nicely (as will mine but staying under opponents points) then i'll scorch them. Not once, not twice but sometimes thrice! I haven't touched ranked for several seasons.

Nova to finish
