What did you like the most about Cyberpunk 2077 ?

+
- Characters, especially V & Johnny. 3D character artists and animators did a really good job !
- The immersion, the atmosphere, the lighting. Night City !
- The story. I cried at the end. A lot.
- Some gigs are very powerfull !
- The OST of course.

Whether it's the universe, the characters, the city of NC or even Judy ?

The Universe, the characters, NC and Judy.

In all seriousness, I've been looking like crazy for a single player game that lets me interact with secondary characters the way Mass Effect did before Marauder Shields failed in his duty, expand upon it, and all of that in a cyberpunk setting.

I think, even as of now CP77 is my best bet. Even in the current state, I'm thoroughly enjoying what I described above, it's lacking currently, but I'm a person of faith.

Female V, flat out. Not to say I didn't love Judy, Jackie, Panam, the variety of cars, nethacking, etc., etc., but the voice actress playing she-V elevates this game to absurd heights of awesome. Easily the best voice performance and characterization I've encountered in a video game - and I remember playing Pong when it was out in the wild and not just a nostalgia toy for hipsters.

I loved how you get attached to the character. At first i did not feel anything for V, I did not even feel sorry for Jackie, but once you get to chapter 2 and start doing side quests with Panam, Judy, Kerry and River, you develop the connection with V and all the main characters. Spoiler ahead! I did the ending with Rogue and Jonnie, when he gets to make a final choice, I've mad him stay with Alt, and the way V was hysterical about it was very strong. Romance was a big part of my connection with V. She became human, girl who needs some love and escape in her crazy situation. She had romance with River, and when she gets to make the last call and talks to him, this was heartbreaking. All I wanted was for her to get back to him, no matter what, even for a short time, and thats why i left Jonnie with Alt. Seeing V and River together again after the return was bittersweet and I literally cried when she was on the space station.
I honestly think those romance lines need much more work, River line after the sex scene almost vanishes. Thats not how relationship work: they need to be able to communicate, do more together, talk like lovebirds talk, make love, solve more quests, go on for a date... thats just unfair. They needed to discuss V's condition, they needed to say goodbye... I hope for the DLC to see more of River, but as I read reviews, a lot of players what to see more of other romance/friendship connections to develop and it makes sense. I totally understand the need and think that for players those human connections, those character stories are something that makes the game great and makes you cry in the end.

-The characters and voice acting
-The character creator (wish there was an option to change appearance mid-game)
-The 'meaningful' side-quests (give me more!!!)
-Night City in general (the graphics and architecture look amazing - wish it was more interactive, though)
-The music

The initial graphics and look if the game as well as some nice soundtracks.

Just wish the facade had more substance and I have an option in game to make me a playlist...what are we? 2077?

When it works the game world is fundamentally cool.

There was some good characters in there; Jackie, Judy, Panam. I would of like to explore more of the other NPCs as well.

The story is interesting and good up to a point, I was just underwhelmed by the endings.

I liked having the life options, but would of liked to have more depth there. I also think it was the right choice to allow the player to make their own V, rather than imposing a character on us that we may have no interest or connect with.

pon pon song

... and thought provoking story, which refueled my existential crisis for the foreseeable future.

The nomads, the bonfires, comadre, the togetherness shown there. The Ritual radio station. The burning crotch guy.

I haven't fought Adam Smasher yet, but I feel like they did a good job with him so far, building him up as someone you really don't want to run into.

Overall the vibe, the colors, the body modifications, the tone, I think it's all good. It's a version of history I am sure we will never see. But the creativity is there.

The game isn't finished, but I think it's art. Exploring NC is an emotional experience.
