What do you guys think of an in game chat that's set to OFF by default?

What do you guys think of an in-game text chat that's set to OFF by default but turned on by users that want it in the settings? So for the people that want a more social game, they can manually turn it on and it would only work if both players have it on. Though it may be preferable for the matchmaking system to more likely match people that would have it on.
It would add a lot of fun to the game. It would allow people to share ideas and decks. It can be a great way to really interact with the game and make it a more social and fun environment.
You would still be able to turn it off or quench chat live at any time by a button.

Integrating chat has been discussed many times before and every pro and con with it. In the end it's very unlikely that it's going be implemented. The best we can hope for is an emote system.

On a side note, the devs have stated they want introduce an option to rematch or befriend opponents you have battled. So if you had an awesome match and you wanted to do more with the opponent, you can use that feature instead.

That's great news! Even if it isn't chat, emojis and/or befriend system would definitely make this game better.
