I actually absolutely agree with this... drugs, smoking, drinking... these are pretty solid earmarks of the genre... in the future anti-cancer nanites would let people smoke freely.

And yeah, I would to sneak into a burned out tenement, go up some stairs, turn a corner, and come across some dude shooting blue glass directly into his tear ducts...

You're right. But I hated the fact that through 25% of Fallout 3 (don't get me wrong, I love that game) I had to crawl through severs and I got lost a lot since it all looked the same to me. When I get to a sewer level in a game, it usually feels cheap, as if a developer needed a filler level to make the game longer.

In fact, it's not that I want no sewer locations, it's just that I wouldn't like it if a significant part of the game was placed in a sewer.

ah yea that would make sense lol. why trump through sewers for 95% of the game when you have Night City itself to explore? lol.

I personally liked it, but I can easily see why someone else wouldn't.

And DXHR. BAD.

Never have anything like a three button or even on/off choixe set. Organic sequence to inevitable result. At worst, if you must have a go/no go selection, consider how Planescape Torment did it. OR, even better, how the Witcher likes their endings: no clear cut dominant choice at all, simply the latest of many.

Personally, I think that worked OK as an ending for DX:HR, simply because it was a prequel. Adam may have thought he was making a decision that would change the world, but in reality it didn't matter what he did - all paths would lead to the first game. So it was more like a vote for the player. The equivalent to the "Who do you prefer, Roche or Iorveth" discussions in the Witcher forums.

But it sure as hell isn't the way to go for CP. I agree with you - personal endings like P:T or endings like the Witcher, where there's no clear-cut good or bad ending. I really don't want to be the heroine who saves the world.

I would like to not have only one difficulty level for all. Proper 3 difficulty level for all.

Well, yes. At least. Easy, medium, hard, hardcore ( one save allowed, no autoheals, etc), Insane (one life). Even Psycho: you play the game as an irredeemable Cyberpsycho. With all that implies. Survive as long as you can!

Because it's genius! Imagine if all the NPCs were killable AND the world was open AND youhad a free-form dialogue tree and response AND the NPC AI was organic and responsive!

The gameplay as a cyberpsycho would be very, very different from whatever plot CDPR had intended, I have no doubt.

Sort of like the Malkavian from Vampire Bloodlines...only with cyberarms and implanted cybersnakes. In your eyes. That tell you what to do. In sentences that always contain the words, "abdominal eviscerations". Tee hee.

So if you hit Cyberpsycho from implanting too much cyber in-game, ( as opposed to selecting it at game start), the game could pop up a dialogue asking the player if they would prefer this new difficulty and then swap in every-NPC-killable, alternate views, new and amusing dialogue, etc. All damage is halved, you regenerate ( or think you do) and the lamp-posts and stop signs talk to you in Mike Pondsmith's voice
