If you spare him, he gives you something. There was no notice, or at least I missed it - they fade away too fast in this game. So what does he give you?

A sword. I think it's a Jagged Blade, but I'm not sure. Nothing special, any way.

I remember when desperately searching for this info, to write the page about Pangratt on the WWiki, since in my gameplay, the game crashed right after Pangratt's death and it deleted all his loot

But basically, yes, should be that sword.
