What does the star next to a quest entry mean?

Hi,Please forgive my caps, they are there for emphasis, not to be rude.I do NOT WANT SOMEONE TO TELL ME HOW TO DO THIS QUEST.I am stuck on the part of the quest where I believe I have to somehow animate and/or slay the golem. However I'm not looking for advice on how to do that. What I want to know is simply that "Star" that is next to my quest that indicates it is "Active" does that mean I can proceed further with the quest I just cannot figure out how? I'm asking because I see this star is absent from other quests so I'm assuming that means I can't do anything until some other event happens? Thanks!

Afair it denotes that this quest can currently be continued.

Hi :)the "star" does indeed mean simply that the quest is ongoing, and basically that is fine for this quest for the whole act. you have all the time in the world to figure it out :)i'd have to see your list of quests to interpret what is being displayed for you, but essentially those markers are not terribly important. As long as there is no big red X next to it, it's active and possible to complete (i think! -- there are a couple of exceptions in the expansion modules, but that may just be oversights)just talk to everyone about everything that you can and listen to what they have to say :) happy witchering :peace:

The star also means that the quest can be tracked on your map, to a specific location or an NPC, when you select a quest with a star, the option "Track quest on map" will appear on bottom right side of your journal screen.

Yes, that is the reason the Star is there, it means the quest is trackable :peace:Comes in handy at times.
