What does this ending of the "Price of Neutrality" mini-adventure mean?

Hello all. I have just completed the mini-adventure stated in the topic and I got the ending which Deidre and Merwin forgave each other and jointly ruled Caingorn afterward. The ending also mentioned that after some years, however, a letter was sent to Kaer Morhen from Caingorn, and Eskel threw it into fire without reading it, and the witchers never spoke of Deidre again, though she will remain in the memory of the witchers.

First of all, I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to the developers for making this free spectacular mini-adventure, which is, as usual, of high quality and can genuinely extend the fun and pleasure I had derived from the main adventure.

Second, I desire very much to understand what the ending I achieved means. The fact that both Deidre and Merwin ruled the kingdom together sounds bright to me, yet the latter part seems to imply something unpleasant happened... Would it be that Sabrina killed Deidre? Or would it be that Deidre and Merwin turned against the witchers?

Please aid me to resolve this confusion, my fellow witchers.

I guess he did not want to have anything to do with her anymore. :)

Oh right! That sounds like a reasonable conclusion. I feel much relieved now. Thanks!

Yes, look at the picture. He trusted Deidre and tried to help her and she mutilated his face! By "accident." Even though things were resolved without further conflict, she caused him and his fellow Witchers a lot of grief by coming to Kaer Morhen. I think Eskel wanted to close that chapter of his life.

Yeah, even though she was his "surprise", I did not expect that either (both mutilation and his disdain).
