I discovered a new way Geralt can die: death by loading screen. I was playing the quest called "Precious Cargo" in White Orchard. When the man tries to make a run for it, there's a black loading screen to set up the chase on horseback. But the loading screen was taking extra long for some reason, then I heard the death sound effect. A few seconds later, the "You Are Dead" screen appears. WTF?! Geralt survived a battle with a zeugl and the Kayran, but a loading screen was too much for him. :ROFLMAO: RIP Geralt.
I remember there is a wolf pack very near the man's camp. Maybe they attacked Geralt during the loading screen? I know they panicked my Roach at least once. :D

If you're on PC, you can probably hit spacebar or tap A on a gamepad about 7-10 seconds into the loading screen, and it will put you straight into the game. It may be what's happening. The game has already loaded, but Dandelion's narration will continue to play until it's finished.

Fallout 76. Got a free copy thanks to Amazon Prime. It's insanely addictive.
Hard to believe the poor reviews when the game first released.

Lately, (apart from blowing up my hours counter on cp77) I've been playing a lot of Gray Zone, Squad and especially Assetto Corsa (on both versions, drift on AC and GT on ACC)
But I have to admit that everything always brings me back to cp77... My favorite game.

This conversation has sparked a whole another Fallout 4 playthrough for me.
The last time I played it, that was ages ago. I thought maybe I have changed. So I followed the story.

...
Poor Preston Garvey. He's such a nice guy, but Bethesda made it almost impossible not to hate him by the end of the game.

Today I started playing a new early access game called Manor Lords. Still needs a lot of stuff added, but it's looking good so far. Looking forward to the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima next week, but
wow did Sony stir a bunch of bad stuff into the pot today. Release day could get ugly. It'll be interesting.

Oh, wait, I don't follow. He's pretty tame in my ending. What does he do otherwise?
He annoys the player to death with incessant "another settlement needs out help" comments. After a while I'm sort of like, "Hey Preston, what you mean is that another settlement needs MY help, because all you do is sit around handing work for me to do, even though I'm supposed to be your boss." It's annoying to enough people that there are mods to allow various fun ways of killing the poor guy.

Ah, lol, I'm way past that point, at some point he's done with those quests, but the settlements keep needing help.

I wish there was vanilla feature to assign one of the settlers to the workshop to figure out things and keep assigning new folks 'as instructed' or at will.

Also, my settlements are such forts that usually the turrets just kill everything before I can even see where the enemy is. Those fights should be allowed to happen without the game pinging me to go defend the settlement.

I am currently still playing Cyberpunk 2077. I burned in 400 hours so far, since mid March. I can't seem to put it down and I'm still on my first play through (this includes Phantom Liberty), going through the multiple endings now. Once I'm done, I will be exploring the map some more and probably try that Fixer's Gems mod for both the base and Phantom Liberty, even though I already found a bunch of them.

Once I'm done, I will start a new game, this time with male V. CP2077 is simply my favorite game to play right now. I had plans for Horizon Forbidden West buuuuut..... maybe later.
Night City keeps calling me and I keep answering. :ok:

Vladik Brutal lol
The video is from YouTube, it's not my playthrough of the game.
Because mine looks much more embarrassing. Being killed every 5 minutes. :ROFLMAO:

They say this game has been made by one single person for 4 years (with huge community support)

Ghost of Tsushima on PC. I put a few hundred hours into it on PS5, so now am giving the PC version a shot. Some folks seem to be having issues with it, but it's a solid port so far on my machine. No glitches, and I can finally play it at a good frame rate in 4k.

After coming to a fair point past the ending in Fallout 4, I decided to try and see if Fallout 3 was working on my PC now too.

It is!

The funny thing, after having a good start in the Vault 101, not killing anyone except roaches on my way out, saving the mom of that bully, I started following a radio signal to the north. Oh maman, I've gone farther than I wanted. Aliens abducted me! My first quest in the wasteland, yikes! I didn't want to play that so soon, but I went for it.

One thing is sure. I am coming back roaring and bursting with the XP from that one. Yee haaw!

One more update, @Spockprime

I got to give it to the vid author, these are all valid points.

I also checked it. The moment the player obtains a gun, they get the ability to do VATS.

ark ascended, witcher 3, and cyberpunk. enjoying my 4070ti super.

i honestly made an account to post my love for cdr and their games. cyberpunk is blowing me away. i almost quit when jackie died but like twenty min later i changed my mind and i cant get enough.

cdr you do amazing work thank you.

Playing yakuza 5 at the moment, wanting to finish CP 2077 base game side misions, I have some others games to finish too.
Currently on ps4

The Outer Worlds, Spacer's Choice Edition (which was free a while back on EGS when I got it, and I finally decided to give it a shot since the last time I played it was the base game on Xbox). How much like New Vegas it is in playstyle and features makes me wonder why Bethsoft spent so much time reworking Creation Engine (from the ground up, they claim) when someone already did it in UE with better results. (E: It's the same developers as New Vegas.)

(Game content can be protected property in the USA. Game mechanics cannot. How WB managed to patent Monolith's Nemesis system—after many, many attempts over as many years—is anyone's guess. Lawspeak isn't my thing, but I suspect they somehow argued the Nemesis system as content. So, a game acting just like New Vegas is fine. A game that uses New Vegas' visual design or story must be licensed from the owner of the property even if the gameplay is completely different.)

TOW is a fun way to pass time. I'm enjoying the DLCs as they're new to me.

Not playing but thinking of.

Many-as-one may be the entity that will keep intriguing me the most. I bashed them like everyone else (oh, yeah, I'm totally an a**hole/b**ch), but still ...

Now back to Divinity 2: The original Sin (definitive edition).

So, ... all characters need to say is something like this, and my main quest is on hold, I am not back on it until that bigger demon is undone.
