What games are you looking forward to?

@Matias_Carlos_Kali - I'm really hoping it will have all the GOOD parts of CP2077 that I enjoy but in the V:TM feel, but not have (one can only hope) the same kind of "railroading".
But having played the first Bloodlines, oh-so-long-ago, I'm going to play it, regardless.

Here's hoping it's just what we need after playing CP2077. :)(y)

@Matias_Carlos_Kali Yes the first VTMB and FNV are my gold standard for replayability if Bloodlines 2 has half the replay value of it's predecessor it will be amazing. Broke my heart when the WOD game died.

who knows, it might be compared to cyberpunk 2077 when it comes out.

I was initially looking forward to Bloodlines 2 too, but it seems like the game suffers from major development issues having lead game designers quit. Other than that, it also seems like the game suffers from all kinds of SJW-bullshit.

In that regard, I only really look forward to God of War 2021 and Horizon Forbidden West. Other than that, the current release calendar for 2021 looks rather bleak. Resident Evil VIII could be good - at least those vampire waifus look interesting - and Biomutant also looks promising.

In all honesty though, the gaming industry is a mess anyway. I really miss good original titles among all these remakes, remasters and continuations.

none really sorry to say this but CDPR and Piranha Games have really burnt me hard on anticipating anything new I guess maybe I am finally done buying new games and just wana bury my self in older more complete games like La mulana older monster hunter games so on so forth... (I am not trying to attack CDPR or Piranha Games just say that they burnt me from hoping for new games being released when they are ready....)

Im still waiting for Cyberpunk

Besides that...
- Ashes of Creation
- GTA VI
- Ruined King
- Hytale
- Prehistoric Kingdom
- Hogwarts Legacy

... and some more.

Really looking forward to Squadron 42.

A few others as well:

Bloodlines 2 - let's fire every competent writer and developer and hire some street bums and see how it goes

Dying Light 2 - where did it go

Resident Evil - Village -I hope it's a spin off and don't tie it in with the main games as I like the premise, kind of like Amnesia and Penumbra

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - Cheeki Breeki Simulator

Project Cars 4 - Let's Not Remember Project Cars 3 - The sequel-prequel

Elden Ring, Silksong and Death Trash.
Minor hype for Atomic Heart because I fear it will need a very high end pc setup to run properly.

Cyberpunk to be released on ps4... Its the only game I wanted. Im playing the early release heading into 250hrs and sorta just want to be able to get out of the car and not have the self imposed precautions of "Don't shoot the arm cannon yet because it won't respond or will respond unintentionally."

I came over from AC: Odyssey and Borderlands 3 and am particular about shallow games and will only pick up a title I can live in. All arrows point to Cyberpunk. There are no other games..

christ i just want my new PC to arrive so i can finally play monster hunter in 60 fps

As someone whose been following this for a while, and the MMO before this; spoiler warning, this is going to be a dumpster fire. The project lead was fired and replaced with a guy with a background that is, charitably, in ARPGs, but really experience in looter, shooters. And the entire writing team was fired or quit. And the project got pushed back THREE times by a year total with now no set release date. All troubling signs of as project that was beyond the scope of the dev house that took it on. (Which I expressed concerned with as soon as it was announced and nothing has happened this entire time to dispute that view point)

Listen I LOVE VtM, I dedicated 2008-2014 of my life running a news, community site to the MMO. I WANT it to succeed. But I see zero evidence that it will at this point sadly. My 2 coppers.

I'm pretty pumped about Spiders doing a release of Greedfall for next gen and getting some new content for it, as well as whatever they're planning on doing with their new title Steelrising.

Mass Effect remaster for nostalgia/missing the characters, Mass Effect 5 (?) because I'm curious to see how they're handling it and whether some of the Andromeda crew are coming back. Dragon Age as well. Mistakes in the past aside, Bioware has come the closest to making the kind of RPGs I enjoy, so I'm in it for the long haul.

Biomutant looks neat.
