I remember posting the same question when the game was in the closed beta but i cant remember if i was answered, so, is it coming to steam or only gog?
I believe the latest news on that is this. Staying on GOG for now.
If you want to run Gwent through Steam (which is what i do), add the GoG Galaxy Launcher to your library as nonsteam-game, then navigate into the app settings to the Target Box (which points to the GoG Galaxy Client.exe. Just add following command at the end of the line with a space first:
/command=runGame /gameId=1971477531 /path="D:\Games\Gwent"
path has to be edited to the folder where your Gwent installation folder is. Voilá, Gwent launching from Steam and getting updates via GoG Galaxy. Works best if you always let GOG Galaxy run in the background, because Steam would start that first, then Gwent.
