I think the game is awesome, because I didn't have ridiculously unrealistic expectations based on hype

Which non-isotropic RPGs are so much better than this? Perhaps the Witcher 3, Fallout New Vegas are equally good or in some instances better. But the idea that this game is bad is ridiculous.

Not sure what's so bad, is it that it isn't "woke" enough? Or perhaps to much trans and gay people? To many bugs? We all know new titles are riddled with bugs, so why so surprised? You don't think it matches what was promised, then why make the total noob mistake and have expectations based on hype?

I dismiss all of the above reasons for calling the game bad, it's nonsense.

This game is awesome, just don't go in with expectations you know are too good to be true.

People playing on PS4 or Xbox One might disagree with you. They misled them by saying it runs well on those consoles. And wasn't there a picture of people from CDPR smiling while one of them held a copy of the PS4 version? Were they still smiling after trying to play it?

In my camp, having played the table-top RPG 30 years ago seeing this brought to life today is really a huge accomplishment. It is unfortunate that money motivates and drives change so obviously at the top having this game accessible on outdated but abundant platforms swayed the direction of the game's launch and to the dismay of everyone because of the content cut, delays but I'm sure the developers had the right intentions but higher-ups as they often do push profit first at a cost of quality. So I don't blame the devs just like in the game it's corporate greed often one or two people making that decision for the bottom line.

I usually wait 6 months to a year on any game because I know the quality always improves with bug fixes and DLCs but this game is an exception I really love the genre and accepted the inherent problems. My roommate has the PS4 version, I have the PC version he has it rough lots of crashes so I can relate to the insurmountable frustration that is causing to old-gen console players.

Looks very much how "Witcher 1" did, not ready for primetime at release & was fixed a year later with a re-release
& it look like the writers knew nothinmg about Mass Effect 3

I think covid plus the pressure from investors and media was the reason the game launched like this. A lot of systems in this game look half done or place holders. I refuse to believe that the police spawning around you is a system the devs are proud of.
Sadly as with many other games this day and age, we'll have to wait for patches/ fixes for the game to truly shine.

I agree with you, this is disturbing. Knowing how bugged the game was, but still sold it, that's not good.
