Why would they make CP2077 free? Even if only considering the business aspect (=how much money it makes), a little is more than none.

Cyberpunk 2 isn't going to be an online game, unless CDPR has completely changed its plans in the last few days and I didn't read about it.
CP2077 will never be free to play. SIngle player games almost never become freeware. GOG exists, at least originally, for people to purchase games from multiple decades ago.

I think I just wish they can put it on game pass ultimate and make it free on game pass ultimate because I have that game on my Xbox one but it's broken and I can't play it and I'm using my Xbox One s you know
I hope they can add the Croatian club in cyberpunk 2 that lets you install mods but the thing drawback the achievements will be disabled and if you're on multiplayer the system will make sure there's no overpower stuff from the mods but keep the others that is not powerful and also can customize you guys huds and stuff but if you're in single player all of the mods are in single player to make you let loose around the worldYep, it never was further from being free recently

No I mean if the creation one the AI make sure it doesn't let overpowered mods go in multiplayer but that overpowered mods into single player

Gamepass wouldn't be a bad idea. I could see that happening maybe sometime after the holidays, unless CDPR has an issue with Microsoft that I don't know about.
I'm just guessing, but I think when CP2 gets nearer, even if hypothetically they put it on Gamepass for a while, I suspect that they'll want to sell a bunch of new copies of CP2077. I could see it going on sale for a really cheap price a couple of months before CP2, just to get people excited about the franchise again. And honestly, I'd be disappointed if they ever did make it free, unless at some point in the future it stops being supported to run on whatever the new machines happen to be at that time. It's a product that still has a lot of value in the market.

Oh yeah I was looking to buy a game there. I like their policy about starting games with just the exe and the fact they actually do work on the games to try to make them run better on modern equipment unlike steam. Will my credentials here to log in these forums work to log in there or will I be making a separate account?
With the forum change some months back, it should be the same. I don't know if you have to take any additional steps to set up the account. I already had a GOG account when the forums changed, so for me it's seamless switching from one to the other.
Yep, if you didn't touch anything at time (and since), your actual CDPR account on the forum use the same details as your GOG account your used before the changes.
