I am so sorry guys, this really sucks :-\ I still don't understand it, Witcher saga is kinda "old," for me much better than Harry Potter thing (never read it, never seen the whole movie), and Harry comes in all languages (well not all, but I am sure MANY languages), We have Czech version like 3 weeks after american version, same with movies and stuff, so WHY DOES THIS TAKE SO LONG??? I read it all so I really understand what you are missing. Too bad I am not that good in english, I sould do some "illegal translations" ;D ;D ;D

Well, if you're VERY impatient you can always read my half-assed fan-translation but the quality is far from perfect and for now I only translated half of the first chapter.

I haven't posted it yet. I'm not sure if it's entirely... you know... LEGAL to post it here and there's no other place I can think of. Unless you have a suggestion?

Hmm... Well... I think nobody should have any business in what You send by mail to anybody else ;DAnyway, You'll be just sending some text to be checked if there are no grammar mistakes, am I right? ;D ;)

chicra, it's great to hear you devoted your time to translate the next volume of Geralt's adventures. You are free to publish your work here - what better place could you choose ;) I'm more than sure that there are much more impatient readers here who would like to read the continuation of the witcher cycle. So... bring it on my friend ;)EDIT:Maybe this would turn into a big community project, with all those edits and suggestions ;)

Yes, if more community members share the proofreading and take one chapter, the entire work should be finished quite soon.Thumbs up for Chirca

I wrote to Orion Books months ago asking if it was confirmed that Times Of Contempt was postponed to 2010 and they confirmed it. I really hope they won't release it in 2011!

i did already post on this a while ago - i emailed them and they confirmed 2011. it would seem they are having problems getting a translation agreement put in place :(

A funny tale I would say... every book store says that the book I ask for is either not done yet or sold out. Typical :DHopefully, translation is good and also in multi, as I need it in, I think, yes... 3 editions. :peace:

yeah i have to admit i was seriously considering learning Polish just so I can read them sooner... LOL. Frankly at the rate things are going, i stand a fair chance of learning a reasonable grasp of Polish before they bring the next book out *sulk*of course, I'll have to fit it in around starting a masters degree in spring and starting my own business... busy busy... :D

Now that is ironic. The sheer will to learn a new language at a later age... even one over 10... is destructive to a persons education process.I guess to exaggerate the release date... it does come as a humorous euphemism. I am currently attempting to reach the point to start a Masters degree... so I guess I'm 1 step behind your current position. Watch Out!! :peace:
