And there is an arthurian myth i woldn't mind CDRP include in TW3: Geralt slaying the Beast of Caerbannog:

Also, note what happens when you dont use potions before a battle and monsters don't autolevel. I like the camera behaviour during the combat, very natural, though.

That's better. For English version "Johnny" may be a good translation, but not for Slavic or other languages, that's what I'm speaking about. You know, like "Jaskier" - it's "Dandelion" in English, "Marigold" in Czech, "Rittersporn" in German, "Lutik" in Russian and so on (not a perfect example, but that's the spirit)

Johnny is SO english and SO modern, it doesn't fit fantasy world.
Johnny like Johnny Cash, Johnny Depp, name from real life.

If it's Janek (Jan) in Polish, can we have Ivan?
(Ванюша, Ванька)?
After all, it's the same name.

Guys, it's supposed to sound out of place, as indicated by Dijkstra's "Don't laugh" comment and Geralt's raised eyebrow. It's a little joke - this mysterious creature that even Geralt is unsure what it is, one of the last of its kind, and it's called... Johnny, of all things. That whole encounter is meant to be a bit humorous - the facepalm, the conversation about poop Geralt and Johnny have after he gets his voice back (mentioned in some articles) etc.

Johnny? Are you kidding me?

I'm surprised nobody made a thread about this already.
I don't want no Johnny, Nick, Jason or whatever English Name in my version of 'The Witcher 3' whatsoever.
Please RED, change it to a more Slavic Name. It's just ridiculous.

What's wrong with Johnny?

Do you also have a problem with Triss? Phillipa? Abigail? Alvin? ... Well, you get the point.

Who has problems with a little kid? Come oooohnn!

Just poking fun at you. It is not that serious, I think CDPR chose the name just because his character is funny. He talks about poop all the time.
