What is the point of warfare really?

I mean, I guess it's good to see NR gets its own faction special cards, but aside from that I don't see how much difference it makes, except for making Arena a bit more dull
 
1. Adds more identity to Northern Realm.

2. Trigger to Resupply.

3. Base on the current Warfare cards, they are designed to further support archetypes. For example: Recruitment offers flexibility and utility, Bloody Flail offers high removal for swarm decks, and Bombardment offers additional pings to seige engine decks. Maybe in the future, we will also see a mage and shield support warfare card.
 
As for me, NR main, it's quite important. Giving to faction a specific keyword and tutor for special cards allow make more consistent and focused on my strategy deck. For example before patch I couldn't use reinforcements or knighthood from the deck other than using Land of Thousand Fables which, as an artifact, didn't have any kind of support. And there will be more cards which will have synergy for NR cards. ;)
