No, it's a lore thing, Geralt has always named ALL his horses Roach. It's Roach as in the fish not roach as in a cockroach or Vernon, it's been that way long before any of the events in TW2(or 1 for that matter) happened.I was wondering from the start and still am: Did he name his horse after his friend Vernon Roache? The simmilarity of the names...i just can't get them out of my head.
From what little I know, he was naming his horses Roach decades before he met Vernon Roche.I was wondering from the start and still am: Did he name his horse after his friend Vernon Roache? The simmilarity of the names...i just can't get them out of my head.
I like Plotka most, which is the original name. I guess it'd be hard to English people to pronounce it so guess that's why it was changed. In Bulgarian translation the horse is also called Plotka because the translation is "Sharan" and it does not really fit a horse in my opinionYou´re right, Roach is bad name. I like more Klepna, her name in Czech.
