PC and Xbox 360. Started on PC, now on Xbox 360 only. In general I prefer to play games on xbox 360, but when PC version comes out, with no xbox 360 version in sight, I play on PC. I still hope for the xbox 360/xbox 720 version of TW1.

CDPR allow people to use TW2 assets for Skyrim mods, so I doubt they'd block people from using TW1 assets for a TW2 modGilrond said:That would be an enormous task probably and would require a lot of time and effort. Plus the first game has all the voice acting which adds a lot to the experience.
So it's possible? Cuz I had no idea you could use programs from other games, I'm mot a modder.Kodaemon said:CDPR allow people to use TW2 assets for Skyrim mods, so I doubt they'd block people from using TW1 assets for a TW2 mod/>
No, it depends of the technology. TW1 was released in 2007, so obviously the files might be a bit old in quality-wise. They'll need to make some remastering by asking the voice actors to re-voice them to "fix" some possible clips. Same goes even for some framerates that might have clipped them in that way.Kodaemon said:If it's possible to add sound files in REDkit, than it shouldn't be a problem to use the TW1 dialogue at all.
Sure, it would require a huge amount of work. But the reason there are no unique maps for TW1 is because the modding tools for TW1 do not actually allow creation of maps.Gilrond said:I suspect the amount of work that goes into designing the level from scratch is huge. Did you see any mods for TW1 with totally unique maps? All I saw were reusing maps from TW1 locations. Creating all those locations from TW1 from scratch using the REDkit sounds like an insane amount of full time work (and don't forget about testing the stuff).
Haha ya we really wouldn't, we get what we can take when it comes to mods.Kodaemon said:Sure, it would require a huge amount of work. But the reason there are no unique maps for TW1 is because the modding tools for TW1 do not actually allow creation of maps.
@Tannosuke That might just be your professional perfectionism speaking/> Provided the audio can be converted into a compatible format, I don't believe fans would mind sound quality a bit worse than TW2.
