What was the point (topic inside to avoid spoilers in title)?
What was the point of those questions Geralt was asked at the very beginning of the Nilgaard section, right after White Orchid? As far as I can tell, none of the answers you give change anything or have any noticeable effect on how the game world plays out.
Did you travel with Iorveth or Roche? Doesn't matter because Roche is the only one that you meet.
Did you go after Triss or help release Saskia? Doesn't matter because Saskia's not in the game.
What did you do about Anaisse? Doesn't matter because there's (as far as I've seen) zero mention of Anaisse.
When I played through the game and got to that point, I was expecting my answers would have some sort of noticeable and (perhaps) big impact on the story. But as far as I can tell through 2 full play throughs (choosing different answers each time), it doesn't.
