I would expect to see dome sort of Dorph style drug abusing gangs.
A while ago it was 'popular' for gang members and certain sociopaths to spike people with needles, so if which were sterile and were used to scare the shit out if the victim while others were infected with anything up to Aids.
It could be interesting to see gangs used drugs as a weapon in 2077. How do you drum up business for your new designer drug that is both massively addictive and has horrible side effects? Go inject a few randoms now and again and when they are coming down just offer them a hit for an extortionate fee.
And there are soooooo many ways to apply.

Deus Ex: HR had the tranq rifle, but that was it really for the practical application of substance abuse. That's all you ever get really. I want to see players being given the potential to weaponise just about any narcotic. Dope and knock-out guards with aerosol dispensed stuff or hop people up on combat drugs laced with hallucanagenics so they kill all their mates!
I could also see an overdose setting on the said weapon.. (Lets call it the "narcotic gun") You could shoot someone with a high dose of some narcotic and make it deadly if needed.. It would be silent and since the person who got shot wouldn't die instantly, it would give you enough time to run away before his/her friends notice you..
This would be a unique encounter.
Character walk in on a gang war where the opening volley is something like this - THEN - the "fun" begins.
I am really liking where this is going.
This 'narco gun' would obviously not be cheap; aside from the air cartridges and darts or what have you the doses of drugs used as a payload would cost a fortune... Unless you were cutting the doses with something, like Ajax or Talc...

I like this aswell. And its also a lot more intimdating than bullets, atleast to me.

2021 is an unofficial fan website. The Ares Predator is a pistol from Shadowrun. The Naja is made up by the website operator. Wisdom made stuff up on Datafortress too.
Um no... The Ares Predator was originally a shadowrun gun, it was statted up for CP 2020 by Cyberpunk 2020 fans. It has never.... ever.... been used in any official Cyberpunk 2020 product.... because its a Shadowrun weapon.
And it works the other way around too... I have seen CP 2020 gear statted for shadowrun by that games fans... this kinda thing is what fans do.
I just noticed... but dude from tralier/wallpaper has a grenade bag on his thigh... but he also has 2 odd grenades dangling from the straps...
If I had to guess I would say from their shape/coloration/purespeculation that they may in fact be EMP grenades...
I mean they could be smoke or gas, maybe flashbang... but the red light things on the sides would seem to indicate none of those things...
