What would Fix the game for you?

+
Gaming media to disappear, that would fix Cyberpunk 2077 for me. Removal of unstructured numerical critiques, and meta-critic would also help.

Hey there, some really nice suggestion I have seen in this comment-section.

But here is what I think, it will be a long ride so hang in there.. :howdy:

Many people say "I dont had many bugs" these are my specs btw:

CPU
Intel Core i7 @ 3.70GHz
RAM
16,0GB
Motherboard
Micro-Star International Co. Ltd. Z370 GAMING M5 (MS-7B58) (U3E1)
Graphics
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 (NVIDIA) 41 °C
ForceWare version: 460.89

Before some guys tell me that my PC is shit..

Anyway I encountered many bugs, from small ones like not coming out from the scanner without loading a save or jumping with a corpse on your back making it disapper or switching fast between 2 weapons making the weapon disappear or using a grenade without actually throwing it or still trying to speaking with corpses, NPC cars glitch trough walls getting damaged and insult you randomly (that one was funny tho) or doing a random T-Pose.., there are so many more.
Big ones are like enemy NPCs are behind walls and can shoot you, sometimes you die from an height that is like 2 meters and there are aswell many more.

These Bugs dont annoy me that much, but what annoys me is that this game has so much potential and it is done.
The Witcher 3 was like the best game I have ever played, which why I decided to hook up CDPR new game, all the feeling that I had for the the Witcher 3 are not in this game, it is good yes but it is not "breath-taking".

You always have the feeling that they cutted out so much stuff specifcly censoring it for what exactly?
A younger audience? I dont really get it.

I hope that they fix this game like they did with the Witcher, but here is my thought:

- Hair-Dresser, Tattoo-Designer, better shop orientation for clothes ( I have the feeling that every shop almost has the same and I dont really get where I need to look to obtain a certain style, sometimes I have the feeling I need to look like a clown to get the best stats )
- Housing-Options.. c'mon the Apartment is more or less useless, there is no need to go back to it
- Riding the damn Train would be a nice thing to add
- better NPC-Physics that goes for almost every NPC, normal Citizen to cops to enemies

- I know CP2077 ain't a porno, but you see ripped chests with deformed boddies where you can see the tits; you see ads everywhere most of them contain moans and nudity, you can buy and collect rubbers, gagballs even a dildo blade and because we are talking about dildos, if Arasaka would buy a share of the dildo factory in Night City they would make a decent amount of money since if you go to certain town areas you are surrounded by dildos.
Dildos in your inventory, dildos to buy, dildos to see, some speak about dildos, dildo as weapons, specficly if you go to Fingers you witness the power of sextoys.
SO WHY, WHY are there only 2 visible Joytoys and 2 which you can discover later on? Why is the sex cutsence so fking rushed that it feels like you are a quickshot? Every now and then there are hints in the game which feels like there were more of this stuff but was simply cutted out and not only the "nightlife".
I am not one of the guys that wants to have 200 sexscenes, but please make it realistic, because it ain't!
- some kind of flying vehicle that you can access while roaming free would be nice

The game is good but has so much potential that it makes me sick that it is not used, there are so many open world games so many people that share the experience with it and I had the feelings that these words will be heard from the CDPD-Crew, until now I have the feeling it has not, I hope that feeling will fade away when the patches will come.

Different levels of companionship. Certain NPC should have an option for companionship. For example, romance companions should be able to live with you, if you want them to. Also, there should be certain ones that you can bring on certain missions. Being able to help them level up would be rather cool, because it gives you something else to do with your cash. To be creative, you'd have to put in a little work to convince them that the companionship is meaningful and worth their time. There would be NPC's that are easier to get, but maybe less reliable depending on where you find them. So imagine going to the University and meeting an NPC that graduating with an honors degree in _____. Their education may aid you in getting particular upgrades that you can't get from a ripperdoc.

This in tune would require CDPR to hire more voice acting, but man, would it be worth it.

More romance content, Aldecaldos teasing you with Panam, for Judy if you go to for example Lizzies bar, that the Mox will slowly recognize you

50,000+ more dialogue lines and non-linearity with outcomes and branches that makes The Witcher 3 and Detroit: Become Human look like 2 discernible strands of spaghetti.

Take out the perk tree.

I don't want to rewrite all of my post here, it is too long I think so I point you to him. This post is, in my opinion, a way to make the game better. Some things I devellop in it are more important than others but all are pertinent I think.

Search => " I'm sure we can make this game much better all together. "

Normal endings, not these flavours of inevitable death in 6 months due to arbitrary and illogical plot cancer.

I remember seeing somewhere on the internet (dunno where) that a criticism that they levelled against Cyberpunk the RPG was that it was "just idiots with guns". Having read its rules and some of the flavour text and setting, I don't think that to be the case. Having never actually played, I don't know if the campaigns make a good or a bad use of the rules there are for it, but I think it has a lot of potential. But as for 2077... it sure feels like that, as I'm mostly mind-numbingly shooting my way through the game. Sure, forcing some doors open, blinding people and making them visible, trying to take down as many of them as I can silently or non-lethally, but I'm still being forced into combat a lot.

My experience with Cyberpunk the RPG is mostly through 2077 and with the genre as a whole... a real shitton of books, comics, manga, anime and films. And what I expected this game to be was a much more cerebral experience, not a Far Cry game with Watch Dogs hacking and magical addons for guns that turn ammo nonlethal.

The flavour of the trailers and previous experience with CDPR games made me think they had what it takes to make a good Cyberpunk RPG. The problem is that, while the writing and aesthetic is giving me the feels (especially the parts with Johnny, Eurodyne and a young Rogue) and while the game is certainly addictive in a mind-numbing way, it's not what I expected.

The cinematic spoilery trailer about Dex, Jackie and Johnny's reveal should have been but a hint of what the feel of Cyberpunk is. I expected having to earn the favour of fixers, being betrayed by them or having them shout foaming through the vidphone when I got on their bad side. I wanted to feel paranoid that a corporation was going to send drones after me. I wanted to feel like a professional carefully deciding about gear and planning: How do I get the plans of the building? Where can I enter? Oooh, is that depleted uranium ammunition compatible with my anti-tank rifle? Will the scanners detect the shotgun hidden in my cyberarm? Will I be able to do a pacifist run?

The thing is, regardless of how early we've been informed that the flathead and wallclimbing weren't going to be a thing there's only so much you can strip from a AAA rendition of Cyberpunk and still call it a successful adaptation of the genre and RPG. Sure, we knew that AVs wouldn't be driveable and we have them in the sky... but if police aren't even going to chase us or patrol on them in any real way, what's the point? If there are no drones, if my cybernetics have little to no effect on my body, if anyone is a hacker capable of blinding everyone for seconds and still nobody seems to care... and what is there in terms of cyberspace or the net to still call it cyberpunk?

So I don't know what could fix it except to give it a complete makeover gameplaywise.

I dunno what game you guys playing but im like 70+ hours in and havent even made it halfway past the story, yall just rushing thru things like tourists, not even taking the time to actually appreciate the game.

Now I think that one of the problems of CP2077 is that it is too colorful (at least for me).

I know this is a old game but I think if the city had realistic settings like Watch Dogs , these colors are a bit dull but make the world more alive
Color (2).jpg
Color (3).jpg
Color (5).jpg

I know it's too late but that's what I'll fix first.

The games 10x funner if you pretend your playing Judge Dredd the game, and your sole purpose in life is to roam the streets imparting justice taking out one punk at a time.

For an extra 2x more fun, you can use non lethal, tech pistols, shoot them thru walls, and double tap them once combat is over, but not before you call them punks and sentence them to death for failure to comply. Smart pistol also roleplays pretty great.

I also suggest you stick to a motorcycle, miltech outfits, and a biker helmet, and call night city, its real name, MEGACITY A CITY WITHOUT LAW, WHERE I AM JUDGE, JURY AND EXECUTIONER, and enjoy....

This also solves the censorship, DREDD needs no sex in his life, all he needs is his gun, and punks to shoot.

You will all thank me later, when one gets lemons, one makes Dredd. Hopefully this inspires some clever modders out there, or a new dynamic mission system, where we enforce the law.

Non-Story related fixes

* Fix all the fucking bugs
* Make last gen console playable, no matter how much you have to downgrade it
* Hairdresser/Change character look
* Apartment decorations available for purchase related to Lifepath
* 10% EXP bonus for Sleep as a boost
* Improved AI
* Improved driving
* Cops drive up and chase you
* Can Craft any Iconic Weapon you dismantle
* List the iconic weapons on a Shard near the shelf so you know what to store there
* Remove all advertisements for vehicles as text messages or phone calls.
* Change the icon for Vehicles from Side Gigs to something like {V}.

I had hoped for much more, like all they promised in their promotion material. But I will finish the game when:

1. The AI is slightly better.
2. The Driving is better.
3. The wanted system is improved.
4. The mission giving system is improved (No interrupting phone calls).

Is even this too much to ask for?

When you try to visit Judy, you get confronted by an old woman who guards the women who live in her apartment building. Your only way to get past her is to shout, "DIE HAG!"

In which case, she dies.

What?

Could you just say it was all a joke and deliver this instead:
- grim atmosphere
- no Silverspoon fiasco
- and bring the f 3rd person if you push the melee fighting.. is JUST HORRIBLE IN 1st person!

Like, lay off Annihilation and put crafting specs for late game tech shotguns and machineguns actually in the game. and, what is probably the same thing, fix my good boys Maelstrom Heat weapons store so if either Royce or Brick lives it actually works.

Not force a honest cyborg merc to look like a PR rep of an accountancy corp, as we see on NPCs chrome isn't invisible unless you pay twice to conceal it - as a pure act of conservativism because even folks like Rhino who is not that big on chrome have Kiroshis for the scanner.

Make Delamain 21 hard cover that can withstand AR fire and the odd grenade. Ideally calling Delamain should also load you straight into fast travel network too.

the rest aren't fixes, they're improvements.

I would like content to be added back which was cut as seen in the 2018 demo.
  • Wall running + Mantis blade clinging to walls (I don't care that it'll ruin the level design just tweak it or something)
  • Flathead companion
  • Destructible environments (like in E3 2018 demo)
  • Additional safehouses for V and customisation for them.
  • Better companion interactions (dialogue and combat)
  • Third-person cutscenes
Here are some features that need to be added or overhauled
  • Better wanted and crime system
  • Better gang and corporate interactions (some sort of separate reputation system for example gangs trying to hunt you down if you kill too many of them)
  • Better NPC AI (day and night schedules, reacting to V and the environment more realistically ect.)
  • Fast travel should be replaced by Delamain cabs and trains (call cab on your phone or something like that)
  • Hacking isn't balanced (3 intelligence build can easily quickhack enemies)
  • You should be able to use enemies as human shields and shoot (like in gears of war)
  • Internet shopping for guns, cars, clothing ect.
  • Car combat, I would like to not only shoot from the car but also jump onto enemy cars
  • Physics like for example when V gets ran over.
  • More cyber-war
  • Fix the crafting system
  • I want more time with Jackie, really liked him as a character but I think the friendship didn't seem very believable due to the limited time you spent together
  • Missions should offer more variety of meaningful choices.
And ofcourse Fix the bugs
I agree with everything above. I really like the idea of using Delamain as a fast travel. Using his car as armor in battles would have been great. My big change would be more BD options, AI bounty hunters come after you ,more NPC teammates and there's way to many closed doors.

Honestly, check GTA 5 is better than cyberpunk videos on youtube.

CDPR should address these videos and tell us if they are working on something showed in so many of these videos.ò
