While more natural open environments like the ones found in Morrowing would be nice, what I'd really like to see are bigger dungeon-like areas. I was dissapointed by the size and complexity of the ones found in The Witcher. Some dungeon specific quests and npcs would also be nice, and maybe a big boss in each one, and possibly even dugeon specific races. Some traps and puzzles would also be nice. Personally I found coming across the section of elven ruins which is blocked mereley by a corpse to be almost agonising, especially given the fact that you can see an enticing flight of steps and a chamber only a few feet beyond it. Basically I hope CDProjekt leave the enhanced graphics engine alone as the original already looks great as is, and concentrate soley on content and environment.

Wanted to add this request, more for new players to either The Witchers sequel or totaly noobs in playing RPG's.- The ability to train your fighting skills, thought the prologue was great in explaining several parts of the game, the one thing I missed was the opportunity to train those special moves, you know like double clicking z or s or whatever. My other requests would be:- Having the opportunity to spell a Sign with two hands, maybe it sounds stupid, but, I just loved how Geralt did this when fighting the Striga during the intro movie (or is this possible in later chapters? Just went untoo playing Chapter II now ;D ).- Same about climbing those walls and rooftops, can just imagine him pursuing a few scoundrels and knocking them down.- Would be neat to like fight with your fists against single or two human opponents instead of using your sword.-

CDProjekt had made a great foundation to create a good franchise with The Witcher. The Witcher was a great game, with a very good storyline.I would like to see the universe expanded, be able to go to different cities, and areas. My only disliking of the game, was that I found it a bit linear, i like the sequel to be more non-linear, with a more variet of quests.

So, I had another idea that I just would love to see implemented into the sequel of The Witcher:- More interaction between Geralt and the opponents his fighting, what I mean is, at the moment, the fighting happens in a manner that the better you click on your mouse, the better Geralt continues his striking sequence without the opponent reacting to this !I'd love to see those opponents react better to this by blocking, parrying better so that the whole fighting sequence looks and feels more realistic. I'm sure this could be accomplished by having stuntmen/women being mo-capped in different battle sequences. The RED team could then create intense fight sequences that involved one on one fights, one on two fights, etc... and this for human opponents aswell as monsters.

First, I believe this is the best CRPG to come along since Baldur's Gate 2. What makes it that is the sheer size of the game world, the numerous subplots and side quests. So, in a sequel I'd like to see an even larger game world. I like the fact that you can get completely lost in some areas (like the swamp in fog or driving rain). So I'd like more and bigger swamps, forests, and towns. I'd like to be able to name the main character. Please don't lose the realism of the game. I love the fact that the witcher can't cram complete sets of armor, weapons, etc. into his back pack. Don't introduce heavier armor. The witcher in field plate just doesn't work. Lastly I'd like to see the sequel in the near future. Being in my 60's this may be the only way I'll see it.

I hope to see Yennefer and Ciri in the game. Also it would coll if you could travel to Redainia and other countries, cuz i think witcher needs more freedom like in TES games. I think they should add some balance because when even at hard difficulty it's very easy to play nad igni is overpowerd

This isn't my finished list, as I'm trying to find out the flaws and cons so the next Witcher game will be even better than this one! :)-More animations-Regarding everything; combat, environments, dialogue (especially dialogue).-More dialogue and dialogue interactions-When speaking to someone, the other character should make some hand gestures, and move about realistically, instead of just moving his arms in a weird way.-Different characters-This is being fixed in the Enhanced Edition, but none the less we should include this point too. Other people in the world should look differently; clothes, character models (fat, slim, different builds), hair, face etc-Environment interaction-Especially during combat, imagine fighting in a closed area and Geralt jumps off a wall, or uses the wall for an advantage!-Friendlier inventory-This too is being fixed in the EE, but I'll mention it anyway!-Bigger world, a little bit more open ended-Make the world bigger, with more content in, and at the same time, make it a bit more open ended. We could enter more houses, speak to more people, even if just for the fun of it, no quests involved.-More variations of weapons and armour-It would be more realistic, and fun, to have more variations of armours and weapons (especially silver swords ;))-Remove environment restrictions-For example, there was

What I would like to see is some way to manage save files. Especially with more modules coming up, keeping track of which save file corresponds to which point in the game is a nightmare. At the very least, I would like the saves for the modules stored seperately from the saves for the main game. Being able to name the saves would help too, of course.

Naming save games is a great idea... at least now we have a screen of the save so we approximately can say which save it is.@DanConnors You won't see Geralt like this ... tin character... in a probable sequel because as Michal Madej said in an interview before the game's release... with such heavy armors Geralt won't be as agil and fast as he is now.@xuerebxYou have a long wish list ;DI agree with in among other in the point of side- and contract quests, which could me more complex.

Yes I did write a long list :-[ Not exactly 'my' wish list, I'm sure some of the stuff I wrote most people would want them (like the technical issues bit), but I just want this game to be even better next time :Hopefully a Dev reads my post, maybe leaves his opinion too :)

Well what's the saying, no question is a stupid question because they'll be at least 10 others in the room that were wondering the same thing. Thanks for putting the list up saved me a lot of time. ;D

Cheers mate :) Gave you some money ;DI'd like to add:-Audio/Music/speech-The music is great, so I believe CDPR will deliver great music in the next game too. But audio and speech needs to be fixed, in the begining of the game it felt quite a bit amateurish (then it got better). EE has over 5000 lines of fixed dialogue, so that's good news :) But we're speaking of a sequel now, so hopefully there won't be a need for a EE for the next sequel :D (In the sense that there won't be any audio issues like this from the start!).I've read this whole thread, and have to agree completely with this post:

He has a point to some extent since each quest path only modifies the game slightly. Something I would like to see is each decision make a lot larger impact on the game, such as quests becoming unavailable while others open up for instance. Even to the point that if Geralt sides with the Squirrels he can only enter the city at night and guards are hostile and all that so as Squirrel you get to explore say another outskirts or forest which will be more or less friendly, but as Order pawn, going to those places would get you into trouble with ambushes etc.

Very, very good idea. I applaud you sir. I think this is a very important point, which should be included in the game. I mean the part that certain decisions should affect the gameworld a lot! Be it side quests, main quests, and the gameworld itself (making enemies/allies etc). Also, I don't think this game suits a sandbox-esque gameworld. Like TES/Fallout/Gothic. I *LOVE* sandbox games, but The Witcher shouldn't be a sandbox game, in my opinion that is. Also, I hope everyone agrees, that our main character won't change, Geralt IS awesome ;) :)

Also more chapters that are similar to chapter 4 in the sence that they are `relaxing chapters`

Hmm though that chapter is 'relaxing' due to the fact it's the only chapter which is a bit different. If there was other chapters like it, it wouldn't be 'relaxing' know what I mean?

other than actually making sure the next game WORKS! what a concept, these are the things that need improving1) the battle system. it's boring. very very boring. the bombs, i never used. the spells, only igni and aard were useful. putting that spikes thing on the ground made little sense. there was never any use for it. teh one that brainwashes your oponent wasn't too useful either, mostly because most of the enemies you fought were drowners and bloodzuigers, and they horded you so fast as to make casting this too slow. why bother when you can just burn and hack them to death right away?2) drowners and bloodzuigers need to be eliminated from the next game. having FAR fewer but more difficult enemies might actually make the game fun and the magic useful. running around and killing hordes and hordes of drowners and bloodzuigers gets real old, as do any other enemies that happen to come in droves. i want to explore the game. having fancified gnats constantly swirling about me does nothing to improve the ability to do that. it hinders that ability.3) it's too damn linear. make it to where i can roam about an open world4) make the game play somewhat faster. it's so slow. this is one of the most boring games i've ever played.5) and a new+ game option so i can blast through subsequent playthoughs.

Now please for give me, but if you thought the game was boring, why did you play it?With the magic, I have once seen a really good analyzation of the amgics, with the result being that the magics are actually stronger than the swords. And this is the first time I hear The Witcher described as "too linear". While I see that games like Oblivion and Gothic 3 are really open, The Witcher isn't more linear than other games. Say Baldur's Gate 2, for instance. Both game have spots were you are stuck in one are without being able to return to other areas.I am not sure what you mean by your last point, a "new+ game option"?
