IF it will be a second Witcher, I would wish that your old savegames could been used, (not important with the weapons and such) but "How the character is" and such.Ofc you can also start a new character from the new game, but you can also continue develop on your previous user, that would been cool :)More storylines! lol, the reason I love "The Witcher" is because its a game which has consequences for your actions, never change this.

I have only two modest desires:1) No more swamps!2) No more drowners (or any other low-level creatures that would pop out from anywhere in every chapter of the game)!

I agree with you there Planeswalker. The area I disliked the most in the game were the swamps. Personally I prefer cityscape and dungeon/crypt type surroundings. Old Vizima was great, just that by then, you were so high level that everyone was a push-over :D.Hmm forests would actually be something to consider too.

I'd like to see swords that make sense. Why does Geralt's (or Berengar's) silver sword closely resemble a early Scottish claymore? For a game routed in Eastern European history and legend what the heck is a claymore doing in it? Strikes me as odd he uses that sword one handed only and the steel hand-and-a-half sword with two hands only...ought to be other way around surely? And for that matter can we have steel swords that don't bear a canny resemblence to LOTRs Narsil/Anduril? More armour for Geralt wouldn't go a miss, though perhaps that would contradict the literary universe of The Witcher.Gripe over.-Addendum-Can we please borrow from TES so that we can't just walk into peoples' houses and loot from them without anyone complaining? The city guards should be on your case if you are seen breaking and entering or at the very least the owner of the house should complain and get uppity if they are there when you do it. Lastly, can we have that you can't just wake people up in the middle of the night for a chat? They really ought to be grumpy at least if not tell you to b*gger off until morning.

I would like to see more social interactions possible with the important people in Geralt's life. You can talk to Triss and Shani about important things, and you can have sex with them once, but there isn't much in the way of hanging out and conversing. Shani can "share" about the Battle of Brenna, and that's nice, but I would like to see at least two social topics per chapter. With Dandelion and Zoltan, too, there's a lot of task-related stuff, and there's some social stuff with Zoltan, but not a huge amount. I'd like to see Dandelion tell Geralt jokes or see Zoltan tell Geralt to stop by his house for a beer someday. Our witcher is so lonely most of the time, and I'd like to see a little more interaction with the friends he does have.

That's what I thought. There was a forest level in Neverwinter Nights that was quite simple to make, yet refreshing in terms of originality. They could add the effect of rays of light coming through the treetops -- the effect already exists in some areas of the game. And forests are a great location for random monsters, caves, etc.

First of all hi! Im new one here.I love the game, i havent actualy passed it yet but im in ice plains already so end is close. Game is realy good. There is only like 2 or 3 games which i was so intrested in.So here the question i wanted to ask - Will there be The Witcher part 2 and more? I realy hope so! There are manu mysteries that isnt solved yet in this part. Like who was person who Triss was speaking in Chapter III start? And what wasnt they going to tell Gerald. Where did Alvin go?( Ok i passed the game, now i know where did he go - to the past) What if boy with mysterious magical powers gets in wrong hands? Will Gerald ever settle and live like normal man with Shani/Triss? And who was the assassin who wanted to kill king? Another unknown witcher as the Barenger was? Who is he working for?Do not change The Witcher its perfect already dont make other The Witcher let Gerald slay! And DON'T make game multiplayer it will ruin in entirely! Only thing i dont like is drowners... in end of the game i was so tired of them. In the swamp cemetary i couldnt enter anywhere just because of them they were fleeing but getting stuck between rocks and then i had to go and kil them anyways. I would like to see how will Gerald and Shani/Triss live in future. Will Witcher settle? More comunications and more love. I seen someone sugester of makeing sex visible and adding different styles to it but that would make it porno game not RPG. Leave it as it is. I also dislike the meditation. Why cant he sleep in bed like all people? Wakeing up with Shani by side would be much better. Going to adventure together too. Probably even makeing your own hause. Pets would be dumb... only if you would have dog in hause that always is happy to see you when you come home after hard day of slaying.Sorry for my english - my spelling and gramatic mistakes. I hope you understand all. Ill be waiting for 2nd part or expansion of the same witcher. Good luck programmers.

I'm pretty sure Triss tells Geralt that it's Philippa Eilhart -- she could be lying, but it makes more sense as the truth. You're right though, a bit of corruption/intrigue at the home of the Sorceresses could be pretty cool -- considering the enchanted tent in 'Price of Neutrality', the design guys at CDPR could go nuts with the interiors of a keep inhabited primarily by sorceresses... (Open an office door and step into a vast green field full of butterflies...)...And, on the more lascivious level, it'd be a potential sex-card motherload, wouldn't it. Although I hope they're not going to do it in card form anymore, that's just tacky. :whistle:edit: Oh, hang on, is it actually Triss who identifies her?... Was it Radovid who brings Philippa up? Thaler? One of the connected guys, anyway...

What I want to see is a geralt who can swim, climb WALK (yes make HIM WALK) and I want to play secondary character a little bit, (triss for example).

Geralt can already climb... small embankments ;D He has much agility when he climbs out of the muddy and toxic brew in the sewers. If he advances this skills I'm sure he may assault the summit

It's suggested that it's Philippa in the magic mirror ;D There are many indication including Radovid. But he doesn't like sorceress at all resp the Lodge of Sorceress and their political influence. There is a dialog option about this subject when he talks to Geralt.

One shot question - Are you guyz working on a 2nd part already? Mods are intresting in start but they are still buggy and short. Self made adventures arent intreston because you know what will heppen. I realy hope that 2nd witcher will come out next year but thats only hope. By the way when did you started to make 1st game in umm 2006? or earlyer?

1) More character models. All people should have unique faces, not just the important ones.2) Some kind of memory for female companions. For instance, even after I "explore" the old mill with Vesna, she doesn't change her speech responses in the inn. For all women, it's like the encounter never happened. I know these are all one-night stands, but is Geralt really that forgettable?

Yes you are right... how could Vesna forget that night in the mill  Acutally Geralt has reputation of a fantastic lover... according to a merchant (Leuvaarden model) in the trade center

Well, as long as they don't go the Valve 'episodic' route. It was a great idea in principle...execution still needs work. :p

I would also like to see people start locking their doors at night. As it stands, I can walk into Shani's house at 2:00 in the morning and have the very same conversation with her as the one I would have had at 7:00 in the evening, with the added benefit of Shani being in her nightclothes ;D Especially in a city as dangerous as Vizima, I should not be able to simply walk into someone's house in the dead of night without consequences, and the people whose sleep I disturb should act, well, disturbed!

Exactly  And just around the corner there is a house where many Salamandras and bandits swarm out at night. It's the same house where Alvin in kidnapped in 'The Source'.

I think that the game designers will probably follow on from the main ending - strange witcher - political overtones of assasination attempt of Foltest.. The machinations of the soceresses and Triss will have to choose...in any event lots of meat in those wonderful stories by Sapkowski, which clearly the designers have faithfully followed on...destiny keeps trailing after him, dogging him. I have played games from various consoles to PC, and I grew heartily sick of being some 17year old prince searching for some lost treasure and rescuing a pathetic damsel in distress..sigh...choices were all polically correct and not a swear word in sight, all terribly twee and 1 dimensional, it got so boring I began to think I was really getting too old for this shit, ...and then along came the witcher..and nothing beats this game!!..the music and the artwork contributed greatly to create a very immersive and atmospheric game!...and iffen some of you are looking for more bells and whistles..shrug..for me it was all about the story, story, story and that world, the music, the art...and Geralt.

I would aswell love a remeet of the witchers, maybe in Kaer Mohren or elsewhere. A need is to resolve the end of the first game. And of course much fun with Dandelion and all the others :DI think the engine and mechanics as they were used now are okay. I wouldn't love a really big world like it was the case in Gothic3, sometimes you really felt lost there (even if you exactly knew were you are). Maybe the combat mode can be a bit modified.
