After finishing the game, what I want to see in an expansion would be to see a continuation of the romance threads since it seems like these were dropped in the rush to release the game. They feel unfinished since there is no mention of your choices when the game ends. For an expansion it SHOULD be Geralt, but for a sequel, it could be done differently.A true sequel could involve having multiple main characters in the main story, with the option to play any of them. This would increase replay value because even if the events are the same, if you have the same level of choices with their long term effects as we saw in The Witcher, not only would people want to play the game 5+ times to try the different paths, but you would see people playing 5+ times for each of the characters you control. One of the new characters could be a new witcher(hell, male or female if experimentation by a group allowed for a female witcher), and this would allow people to play and develop a character THEY want to play. With multiple characters playing in the same world event, it should be possible and not TOO hard to make this idea work. The other main players when you talk to them will respond based on how you play that character. So if you play as Geralt, Shani may act one way and respond to how you do the dialog, but if you play as Shani, you get to play how she would respond to Geralt(which could change dialog through the rest of the game). I would like to see even more of a challenge from what you fight in the game, either a yet higher difficulty setting, or more powerful enemies. An expansion could add the higher difficulty level, which would encourage people to play through the existing game on the higher difficulty setting. Talking about difficulty, playing dice SHOULD be a little harder than it is currently because the AI is pretty horrible. I have rolled and ended up with a worse "hand" than the other person, yet they roll all five dice and lose? That's pretty bad. Having other sets of dice available(I never found more than the initial sets of dice through the entire game) would add to it, or to have other dice "boards", just to add some variety. And finally, for an expansion I want to see for sure what happened to Alvin. A sequel may or may not involve him, but for an expansion, I want the loose ends tied up.
