Hey guys I just had a thought about what they could do. In far cry 3 (when you're done with the full story mode) you have the option to reset the enemy camps. It shouldnt be too hard for CDPR to do something like this.
That way we could reset all the abandoned sites and enemy camps. And that way people who try to get the platinum trophy have more people and monsters to work with.
And if they really wanted us to keep playing they could give us the option to reset all the contracts, but make it so that the monsters automatically be at the same leven as Geralt.

What do you guys think?

but isn't that kinda what new game + mode, is for ? 0.0
i'd rather have them focusing on much more important matters such as the expansions, bug-fixes, the REDkit 2, and maybe an enhanced edition.

Not really. Cause when you're done you cant do contracts again. so if you just wanna fight tough monsters a reset option (and auto-level up the monsters) would be awesome. The contracts alone is at least a few hours. Cause thats whats lacking in this game.. tough monsters.

1.Optional alternative dodge move(side steps)
With a bit more sofisticated combat mechanics this game is near perfect man.

I would like there to be a way to fully skip cutscenes with a hold button or at least skips until you select your dialogue choice. I love the game and all but when you've done multiple playthroughs it becomes a nuissance to either rewatch these prolonged scenes or to spam whatever button on the platform your using.

Just re the title:

Bugfixes. Maybe some bugfixes, bugfixes, and if there's time left some more bugfixes.

Roach diving head-first into the mountain when galloping up an incline, sword impact sounds going AWOL, that stupid bug where voiceover in video sequences or cutscenes is muted to the point of being inaudible or at least unintelligible (been an issue since W2, so I'm not holding my breath for that getting fixed), and the list goes on.

There are expansions coming up, would be nice if at least the base game would be a smooth ride before then.

Marcin recently confirmed the Triss update thing is going to be a part of the next update so that's one thing to expect.

Graphics improvements - the Engine should use more video card memory if available to stop the need for texture and model pop-ins. It's a bit weird to see only around 2GBs of my Titan X' memory used.
DirectX 12 Support.
Upgraded Triss Romance, perhaps with the house in Kovir to go to after you finish the game and are able to eat baked goods and plough Triss whenever you wish (and also the place Geralt and Yen move to if you romance her)?
Local Co-op mode where you can call upon any companion (like Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel, the Sorceresses, Ciri and more) and have her/him controlled by another player on your computer (for all the side quests at least).
"Plough everyone" DLC ;)
Achievement grant fixed.
All achievements also granted retroactively (many haven't been).

"A way to sort completed quests." +1

I dont even know why anyone makes a game and doesn't get this on the first pass. Inventory and quests should be full sortable.

What do I expect from 1.09?

1. For SKW to be fixed and the patch released faster than 3 weeks-month since the last patch.... oh wait.... never mind...

2. For slow walk to be enabled again

3 . To actually be 100% sure that I can play each and every quest (I know expecting the game to work correctly is unreasonable, however, one can hope)

4. For the FPS thing to be corrected so everyone will stop whining/ and they can actually fix important things like game mechanics, and the ability to complete 100% of the content

5. To remove instant death from short falls. I'm fine with taking damage, even heavy damage requiring healing, but some of the deaths are so ridiculously out of place in a game with so much realism. This really is probably the single most irritating aspect of gameplay. WTF were/are they thinking? (implementing this mechanic originally, and then to just let it continue seems extraordinarily.... "effed up", for lack of a better term). Have any of the dev' s actually played and been victim of one of these "instant-deaths" from a fall? If so, how we're they okay with leaving it like that. If it was me (or any other sane person) the first time it happened would have instantly shown it needed fixing. Can someone...... anyone explain how/why this gameplay mechanic is or ever was okay and how it continues to fly under the radar. It seems like such a glaringly obvious thing to need fixing immediately.

And.......... that's it actually. I'd be very happy with just those things

You can negate most/all fall damage by rolling before you hit the ground à la Dark Souls.

For me, I'd mostly expect fixes with NPC pop-in. Some of it is really obvious. The walk animation for the Novigrad workers carrying crates is also an eyesore. Above all, though, I agree that making sure quests are working properly should be a priority.

The for the reply and I am aware of and use the "roll" to its full advantage, however, sometimes it just doesn't trigger and you wind up with the 4 and a half foot insta-death. It seems like incorporating an additional "roll move" instead of just increasing his fatal fall threshold is unnecessarily complex.. I like the roll move, but feel it should be used for med height falls. In theory..... 0-6 foot falls, little to no damage; 6-12, med-heavy damage, 12-15 foot falls, heavy damage-possible death, 15 foot + falls, near or instant death, 20+ consistent instant death. Factoring in damage reduction of 5-25% when using the "roll".... Obviously this isn't a perfect system, but it seems better than the current setup...

Apparently, it will be a larger patch that will also include some content changes, so it may still take some time (a few weeks, perhaps only in October) until it is released. According to a post from Marcin Momot yesterday, there is no release date for the patch yet.

I've actually started to grow fond those guys whom I call "Hoppylegs McBoxerton" or "Hoppy" for short. But yeah they should get their legs checked out, looks painful.

The main thing I'd really like to see in 1.09 would be the Potion / Decoction / Oil icons reworked to be easier to identify.

Another I'm really hoping is somewhere on their radar is adding unique 3D models for all the trophies that right now are just generic sacks. Would also love to see some more creative implementation of the bonuses they provide.

There's of course some small bugs still, like not being able to go to the Bestiary menu with the hotkey from certain menus. But I'm sure that'll get ironed out eventually.

I think there is already a mod on nexus for that. I'm not sure about his height but the face texture is surely in it.

- no 1. most top priority, fix the AA, unless I put it to 4k resolution, the jaggies are all over the place, even with everything maxed out in my nvidia inspector and the SweetFX stuff, and the in-game settings, you can't even set half of the options in the .ini-s, at least they don't seem to be having any effect (ala MSAA)... my eyes are bleeding

- in NG+ mobs should be in bigger numbers and enemies more aggressive (attack together, instead of 1 by 1), this also applies to bosses, they give you too much room to breathe, except the golem, fuck the golem, but sometimes he bugs out too, and decides to just stare at you for a while

-more monsters, diversify the existing monsters in the game in their respective categories, for example, don't have every freaking kind of vampire look the same no matter the name

-darker nights, simple as that... now I know that the atmosphere wasn't as polluted back then so you can see the moonlight, bla bla bla, if it were to be darker, it'd be spookier, that's the point

-speaking of spooky, I'd like some kind of ambushes by enemies, roaming enemies are fine, prancing around in the habitat, but it'd be cool for some monsters to ambush you if you enter their hunting grounds, that'd be an excellent usage for werewolves for example which are underused in the game anyway, you'd actually feel like a witcher, having to be careful and dealing appropriately with the situation, instead of just prancing around everywhere carelessly, cause you know you can just "sense" all of them a mile away

-less clues given to the player by geralt talking to himself, don't get me wrong, it should stay in the game, but geralt shouldn't just solve the whole damn case as soon as I arrive at the crime scene

okay this is waaay to much shit to be solved in just 1.09, I guess you could just say I want this to be implemented in general, it'll be a perfect game then... there's probably more stuff I'm not remembering right now, but most of the gripes I had have already been solved by mods, so...

I just hope something is done about the constant hard crashes on PS4 (not sure about X-Box and PC). I just finished my second playthrough and I have counted 75 hard crashes. It's something that terribly takes away from the game for me. I've noticed it happens often when the game is trying to save, but encounters an error. By restarting the game, it will tell me that the previous save is corrupted and will save over it. But this isn't always the case, half the time it hard crashes when I'm simply rummaging through my inventory.

I don't know if I expect this, but I'd love to see some improvements to the controls. If the game is going to decide for me when I'm in and when I'm not in combat state then it really needs to be smarter about it. Ideally I'D get to decide but I suppose that might just be too much to ask for. Either way getting punched in the face the first instant of a fist fight cos Geralt isn't ready to block, dodge or counter is almost as tiresome and annoying as getting shot by bow wielding bandits or hit in the face by the handful of whatever vileness water and bilge hags throw... usually just as I'm watching Geralt put his sword away b/c I've moved out of the absurdly small combat radius. Crank up the difficulty to Death March and instead of tiresome and annoying these kinds of events feel a bit more like a sucker-kick to the naughty bits.

Swimming controls could feel way more intuitive. Right now I'm stunned at how frustrating just collecting smuggler's caches can be... especially if I'm trying to let go of the tiller and actually get out of the boat while under attack.

Also, one thing I'm never certain of is whether the directional controls (left thumbstick or WASD) are relative to Geralt's facing or the screen, because they seem to be one in one situation and the other in others and I'm never sure which is which.

It'd be nice to have more control of the camera. I'd like to look down when Geralt is thinking about hopping off a ledge and I'd like to be able to look under the sail when driving the boat so I can see what's right in front of me.

And if I'm going pure wish list I'd love a map / journal interface that didn't feel like gremlins were re-arranging the furniture every time I turn around. Seriously, just trying to determine what quest markers are closest to my current position is absurd. I can't even keep track of which quests I've checked so far cos every time I come back to the list it seems like it's been shuffled. But... c'est la vie I suppose.
