I am excited about everything this game has to offer, I really really hope it will live up to the hype, though I definitely voted for
Story.
1-
Story: If you have already read the books and played the previous games, then you understand exactly why this game is going to have one hell of a story to tell, having Geralt's last game is sad, but damn it will be a damn good send-off with having the climax the books should have had which this game provides.
2-
Combat: Witcher 3 has everything I ever wanted out of a Witcher game's combat, Witcher 2's combat but a lot more fluid and responsive with elements from Witcher 1, like the finishing moves that did not stop the flow of the gameplay like in Witcher 2, and the ability to drink potions while in-battle, though what we have heard about the Alchemy system and how potions work is really weird, (drinking mutagens that would grant specific passive abilities that would only be changed later in a campfire by drinking another mutagen potion) so I hope they will present the mechanics in an upcoming video to explain how the hell this system works in detail
3-
World: A living breathing huge ass world with three different regions that have their own culture and story to tell, with each NPC having their own lives and jobs to do, and the fact that corpses attract monsters in an area so you would end up seeing a battle between bandits and monsters without even interfering at all, also huge cities full of townsfolk doing their daily business, animals and creatures in the wild having their own "lives" as well, all of that and that huge world will be affected by choices you make in the game, I was terribly waiting for a game like this to happen, and I really hope it will deliver.
4-
Graphics: As many people pointed out, some textures in the latest gameplay videos did not live up to previous trailers, but if Damien Monnier says that Ultra settings will give us a slap to the face, then I am rest assured. Also a lot of textures were upgraded, goddamn, those NPC textures are so good, the clothing, armor, hair, skin, eyes, etc look so good, also the lip-syncing mimic system they are using is damn good for a game that has over 100 hours of content (much better lip-syncing than most games out on the market in my opinion). Also the atmosphere reminds me a lot of Witcher 1, which is a damn good omen, seeing the world at sunset/sunrise, with the leaves and plants acting realistically to wind and creatures walking near or over them, the sound of waves crashing on the cliffs of the Skellige Islands ... There is nothing more to say.
5-
Music: Even though Witcher 1's music will still be the king of music in the Witcher series, I just love the music they chose for Witcher 3, having Percival's tracks in the game does add a Slavic tone which is not heard in gaming so far, their remixed tracks done by Marcin Przybylowicz (and some tracks done by him as well) are damn good, also Mikolai Stroinski's tracks adds another flavor to this game's music that is just incredible.
Too much hype, and I really hope the game delivers, even if it does only manage to to deliver on half of its promises, it will still be an amazing game, the wait is really painful
