Hey chooms, Patch 2.02 is on its way! We’d like to share the key fixes and improvements that will be featured there.
  • V will no longer flatline after entering the Delamain AV in Path of Glory.
  • Fixed the shutters blocking entry to Black Sapphire in Run This Town.
  • Fixed an issue where cyberware could get downgraded to Tier 1 after updating the game to 2.01.
  • Fixed skill progression passives.
  • Rebalanced the timers in courier missions.
Note: The issue where players on Xbox Series X|S are not receiving the Quadra Sport R-7 "Vigilante" pre-order bonus is still under investigation. We're working together with Microsoft to identify the root cause and bring you a fix as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Thanks for the info! Hoping the bug when upgrading cyberwares we receive lower stats is going to be resolved.

So now we have
Patch 2.01 coming soon
Patch 2.01 released
Patch 2.02 coming soon
Patch 2.02 released (soon)
- all full of bug reports and wishes
Maybe some locks would be appropriate?

Fixed an issue where cyberware could get downgraded to Tier 1 after updating the game to 2.01.
i am extremely concerned that this is the only mention to cyberware.

- no mention about tier 4 giving more bonuses than tier 5
- no mention about capacity issues, miscalculations, not increasing by 3 after level 50, no mention about no capacity shards not dropping after level 60...

imho capacity shard drop should all be ERASED from the game, make them items to be bought on specific npcs, this way people would have certainty of the ammount expected that we can achieve so we can carefully plan our build ahead of each playthrough.

Can't please everyone...
The game randomly crashes for a lot of people. It is common to experience a bug where you literally fall through the world. The police system that CDPR said was completely unnecessary and then proudly bragged about implementing three years too late does not function. Raytracing is broken and has been since patch 1.63. Even people who really enjoy the update and expansion (myself included) have said that the scaled stat limits are incredibly bad and should be removed. Upgrading hacks and cyberware can actually make them worse (separate issue to the fix in this announced patch) The expansion has been out for almost a month and the last patch over two weeks and THIS is the extent of the patch? After paying £50 three years ago for a game that still doesn't work properly to this day from a billion dollar company that has bullshitted every step of the way, yes I'm pretty difficult to please. Despite the expansion being good, it was still released in a state that should never have been given out to the public. This company released a broken game and released an expansion and a 'reboot' that is almost just as broken, just with more advanced gameplay and allegedly less performance problems, though frankly the performance issues really were on console so it's not much different to me. The irony of this being that this is supposed to be CDPR showing the game as it should have been, which given they claim cyberpunk was never that bad and people only criticised it because it was 'cool' to do so, I guess by their own standards they have done so.

To spend weeks on a patch with all of these issues and the main selling point is apparently that V no longer randomly dies on one single mission is a bit of a joke. A bad one.

...ok. They didn't list EVERY issue the patch is fixing. Best to wait and see...

Wonder how many people are working on fixing CP at this point? I imagine most of the team moved to other projects once PL was released...

It took CDPR more than two years to get CP to a really good state with 1.63. And now 2.0 and 2.01 reintroduced plenty of old bugs and glitches. Probably cause the 2.0 and PL teams worked with an older version of the code.

You need to balance the probabilities for the different types of courier missions. 9 times out of 10, I get a timed one and it gets old. I want the combat ones to come more often.

Not mentioned but.. I hope we will actually get to see the crafted Iconic weapons showing on the weapon wall in V's apartments :)

Sure hope there's a bug fix for the Chippin' In quest not starting ( Go to the afterlife and johnny doesnt show up )

Another bug just happened during my playthrough, namely, time wasn't passing anymore. Apparently the culprit is the braindance containing the recording of Lizzy Wizzy's concert found in V's first apartment. After watching it time stops and it doesn't matter if you sleep or let some hours pass, it'll be stuck forever. The only workaround I found on Reddit is watching one of the meditation braindances with the monk. Luckily there still was one left for me, but for those who completed those missions I don't what could help. Just be aware, this one here could potentially break quests' progression. 3 years of bug fixing peeps...

I heard about that one in the modding discord. Dudes are having to edit quest facts then patch in the archive just to advance their playthrough.

I didn't get locked out of "Run This Town" like a lot of people, but once that was completed I was stuck perma walking until, comically, a car hit me. Then I could jog around. However; I couldn't access timeskip, photomode, phone, car summons, etc. until I approached a client for another gig. Luckily there was one just beneath the tower in the underground arcade.

I wonder if they'll be able to reproduce and fix the system collapse quick hack bug with future patches...would be sad if it's left in this state.
