Eh, gamers have short memory. If an unfortunate launch were all it takes to sink a franchise or a company, EA and Bethesda would've been out of business for a while.

Well, yes and no. We're not really talking about "going out of business", we're talking about the perception of the company to its customers.

EA, Bethesda, Activision are huge companies, and make lots of money. And they are literally hated by their customer base for their greed and dodgy practices. Is that the path CDPR wants to follow?

Oh no they're reasonably responding to community requests, THE HORROR!
At this point, i'm as annoyed that CDPR are allowing their more "enthusiastic" supporters keep insulting and gaslighting the less satisfied customers than I am about the state of this game falling well below what could REASONABLY be expected from it and the fact that CDPR's response has been a mix of silence, arrogance and now making fun of the poor state of police in the game while at the same time almost distancing themselves from the blame by making the narrative one that they are improving the existing system based on player feedback rather than admitting that it falls far, far short of what should be expected from "the next level of open world" games.

True, I get what you mean and I agree. Hopefully CDPR won't take that path.

Very good statement, everyone here, no matter what they said before, are all looking forward to this patch.
But to be honest, this statement does not completely eliminate my doubt. They should be clear about what we are worried about here. They only need to say a few words about the key improvements, if they have enough weight, every doubt ends.
Anyway, I will wait for it.

Ps. I'm not only referring to the things that can be seen directly, console performance, AI system fixing, numerical balance, stability, loading problems, are all acceptable. I just want to see that they are indeed moving forward.

still no option to change the stupid F to E ???

also there is a huge issue with this game when you play it on a french/dutch azerty keyboard.
the layout makes it so that i use Z as walking forward, but Z is also bound to reading every yellow note in game, resulting in a constant popup from the yellow note things u find in game while looting. and it keeps popping up because you try to walk forward... the only solution atm is to stand still for X amount of time untill the side popup "press z to read" vanishes... wich is really anoying mid fight !
so there should come an option to move the Z key on reading ASAP. its pretty game breaking on a azerty keyboard!

Clearly you haven't read many of my comments, I'm one of the more critical voices on here. I'm merely saying "thanks" because they will tell us in advance about what has been fixed in this patch, so we know what to expect. I won't be "happy" with the game until it's fixed to the point of what we thought we were being sold.

so we can criticize the game? that's interesting

and i kind of quoted the wrong person! i was going for the one with the tweet and because im an idiot i thought it was yours!

I'd really like them to reset and raise the first person camera position so that our eye level is even with other characters. I'm tired of feeling like a midget and looking everybody else in the tits.

Once they have all the patches, DLCs and expansions out, they could make a Cyberpunk 2077: Enhanced Edition. Reviews will be positive, a bunch of popular streamers will play it and say it's good and everyone will follow suit. That's how it is, that's how it's always been.
I assume you're playing on console, hopefully the new patch will fix your issue.
Nope PC (steam)player and i have not been able to load into the game since the last patch because i fall through the floor changing saves has NO effect.

I have a suspicion that i could fix the clipping if i scrap that character and start again but why should i? i did not cause this issue they did sure i could have looked at Nexus for a mod but quite frankly the game just is not stable enough or me to even consider adding mods.

...if the game is this bad on PC i don't want to even imagine how it performs on console and just how conned some of the console users will feel

That looks like a non common issue, I don't think it has to do anything with PC or console versions of the game. Try submitting a ticket.

They have already hinted that for the corrupted save files of the previous versions there is no other option but to delete them and start from scratch.

Could this just be, like you know, your interpretation and perhaps it's not at all the case here?

I don't see any evidence of what you're claiming, on the other hand I see a lot of hatred going around directed towards the fans, the game, the board, CDPR devs, management etc.

It's fine to be disappointed, I am too in some respects, what's not fine is the vile reaction from the majority of the detractors.

Is it such a surprise that some of the fans are fed up with the negativity and blind hatred?
