Could be. As many assets/scripts/code was changed old mods can be not compatible with EE.

now I'm downloading the game for the second time from gog, 'cause I got the same problem here. Not just a corrupted file in predownload, but even this...
If you think this can be the issue, Why you don't say anithing BEFORE? It's incredible how CPR manage this update.

The only thing CDPR does is update the game . It`s up to you to ensure the game is clean or in vanilla stage . CDPR cannot be held responsible for things you do to the game after it`s release .

Are you kidding me?I unistall the game because of CTD. And now I discover that maybe mod interface is the issue.
CPR could say this, as a warning. Or not? Gesus. Well, I'm downloading again 16GB for nothing. Lol?

You serious? CDPR supports their game, not by now outdated mods, that's your own responsibility. And it is common knowledge that you should remove mods before an update, that goes for every game and every mod (except maybe for texture mods).

I'm fucking serious. I played the game an year ago, I didn't remember about this mods. So it's my fault, lol. Ok, THANKS CPR For punishing me. I'm glad to download again the game. You know that mod are not compatible, but you tested my attention and my skillz. So it is normal, yes of course. Even the corrupt file is a blessing, I should think. May God bless fanboy.

I understand frustration and anger but it really doesn`t help in this situation . Actually if you really need to download the game again why not use your backup copy from GOG with EE already installed .
