When was the Lodge created?

Hi all,

I am actually creating a level in REDkit and need some info for the plot:
when exactly was the Lodge of Sorceresses created? When does it happen exactly in The Witcher games timelapse, before Witcher 2 but at what moment exactly - do you have some historical background to it?

Not at all.

It was even before the 2nd Nilfgaard War. After the Brotherhood was destroyed Philippa created it along with some other sorceresses. According to the wikia of The Witcher it was 1264.

The Witcher begins in 1270 (at least that's what the game says in the beginning, apparently that's not entirely correct. 1273 should be the correct date for the first game).

Hmm I have another question: when did Geralt and Triss meet?

That wasn't actually mentioned in the books. There are two books of stories ('The Last Wish' and 'The Sword of Destiny), both describing some events that are not in chronological order and spread out throughout 15 years or so. In one of the stories in the first book (the one about Geralt meeting Yennefer), he still doesn't know Triss when Yennefer mentions her as her best friend. Then, she doesn't appear until the first book of the actual series, where they already know each other and already have had an affair (which she is determined to reignite, though Geralt less so).

The issue is solved by Benzenzimmern with his mod Lykaon, telling the story of their first meeting (or so I hear).
