Where should i buy Witcher3?

Hey, i am seriously struggling with the decision where i should buy W3. gog.com: 60€, no middleman steam: 60€, steam takes 30% amazon: 45€ german retail stores: 45€ How come retail is cheaper than buying it online? id like to support the devs and buy it from gog, but i dont see the point why i should pay 15€ more to do so.

I recommend buy from GoG with GoG Galaxy ( then tell me how to add it to steam as a shortcut as I cannot but other GoG games I can do that and use steam friends to chat etc)

Afaik the retail version can be activated on GOG, so no reason to buy it directly from them.

are the online prices aligned to the US?amazon.com charges 60$, amazon.de charges 45€ - quite ridiculous in my opinion. well, i dislike paying 15€ extra to support CDPR... id rather pirate the game and donate 45€ -.-

its £10 cheaper on GoG...and please no piracy talk here...otherwise I do not respond anymore and this is the wrong place to say this if you are a pirate....

My recommendation is GOG. They should give you a store credit for 60€ - $60 USD if I understand correctly. I have no idea why any retail options would be cheaper. It doesn't make any sense.

GoG gives me a credit of 6€. 54€ is still 10more than in retail and on amazon, thats not quite a reason to use gog.com. well, amazon it is. screw gog&steam, i aint paying 15€ extra to NOT to have the game in a nice casing.

funny that you said it.. you want to support CDPR but you see no point paying $15 more? if you really want to support CDPR you should buy from GOG

Supporting a company doesn't mean you have to pay more. How about you buy 100 copies of the game to support CDPR? Then give the 99 copies to charity?
