+30 hours of extra gameplay.... My hope is to see Iorveth and Saskia on the expansion.
He doesn't have to be in main story. You could make some side story with him..Like some users on this thread pointed out, having Iorveth in the main story would not make sense, do you imagine him fighting his own cousins and his supposed saviours (the Aen Elle) even if you helped him in W2? I doubt it.
That said, I would want to know the fate of Saskia at least.
characters serve the story, not the other way around
if Iorverth and Saskia did not fit in, then they rightfully have no place in this game

You can't really say that if there was a quest written around at least Iorveth already though. My guess is they just ran out of time to implement it properly and/or were saving it for a DCL instead.

Well, they can't stick them in just because people want to. At least, not Saskia because she is killable in TW2. I kill her all the time, and I do not want her to get miraculously resurrected in TW3. If they decide to do it, do it right. Add another question about the past (whether Geralt killed the dragon or not), and if a player answers "I let the dragon live", Saskia will be in the game.
So my Saskia is dead, and Iorveth, if to judge by a conversation about him, dead as well.
To clarify: I went with Roche, but I'm upset about the general idea of declaring stuff as canon. Very upset as you all can read:mean:
Personally hoping for an expansion pack set in Dol Blathanna.
As the Scoitel Gwent cards would suggest, they might have allied with Francesca seeking to create a free country over there.
He must be in an expansion!
I remember from very early interviews, the writers mentioning Iorveth saying that he is a "different man" now. So I guess they cut him out of the final game for some reason.
