Go check out the Cyberpunk Facebook page; they just released a statement primarily about the console version of the games (PC was literally a footnote at the bottom).
Yes, I didn't like it at all. It felt like the game is working absolutely perfectly on PC already and just needs a few minimal tweaks. Which is not true.
ones more again Where is that game from trailers!?.
Im doing mission where game FORCE me to kill police, I have non-lethal build, i use mod that convert all my damage to non-lethal I do all 35+h without killing enybody but f%^k it now you super hacker , pacifist who capture alive all Cyberpsycho, now game tell me that only way to escape Police is to KILL ALL OF THEM . Nice CDPR nice game with multiple option do finish quests.
Let me guess ... its the quest involving a Doctor? if its the same one i feel you. Pacifist reasoning aside those police are apparently corrupt. but even still... idk how you do it without killing them aside from beating them with your first which is always generally a knockdown which may help.

funny you mention that. in another quest with a cyberpsycho, i beat her with my fists (god typing that sounds weird) and when i spoke to the next NPC, the only response from her i got when i mentioned dealing with the cyberpsycho was "yeah i know shes dead, we were still linked on the network when you killed her"
SHE WAS ON THE GROUND ROLLING AROUND ALIVE AND I ONLY USED MY LIGHT FIST ATTACK?!?!?!
The fact that it was watered down is more annoying than the bugs and glitches- the gore leaves alot to be desired and the reflex boosters are nowhere to be found I also can't go streaking through the streets of night city because my character won't remove their underwear I hope it's a case of unlocking these features or a minor bug and not a case of the features not actually being there *slams obese fist on keyboard*

Witcher 3 was also met with severe critique and took a lot of shit when it came out. Performance issues was a big topic then as well. Don't forget that. Look what that game turned into - one of the best damn games ever made.
I have faith in CDPR about this, can only get better from here. I'm 30 hours in and I absolutely love this game.
i can look past bugs, hell, my favorite game is fallout new vegas if you want to talk about bugs at launch. But even in its horrible buggy mess I knew it was a superb game because the content was there. In cyberpunk, I'm looking past all the bugs and all i see is an empty shallow (but pretty) world

the reflex booster drug was remade into a cybernetic, i think its under nervous system or something like that, there are 2 that ive found so far, one slows down time when you dodge and can do it extremely often, then theres another one that you just press a button and get like 8 seconds of 75% speed
I just watched this video and find it totally not delivering on it's title (pun intended)
Here is what he said was promised and not delivered:
high performance on consoles
wanted system/more interactive/dynamic police
city that feels alive with 1000 npc routines
THAT'S all he said, the rest were criticisms and complaints - no matter if they were founded or not - they were not company said this and then company instead gave us this.
And city alive is opinion - I almost never feel alone and even turned down crowds to improve performance. If there were more cars I'd get in 100 accidents and police would be spawning all the time (fix could be to fix how the police work) but I also don't want to be stuck getting around 500 cars all the time. I find I enjoy the badlands more with the open space and less people LOL
SO - I'm still looking for a more extensive list of what they promised and what they delivered.
Well I just have faith in them. And I see the game with a great future, because I played so many games and saw so many failures, I remember, for example, the disastrous launch of the Arkham Knight and now it is a masterpiece game. So it is a matter of choice of course. I made mine. I will not refund.

Actually it could be so. Because I played more than 20 hours and got no single crash on xbox sx. I see only bugs with cars and floating objects. In my opinion the game is just great already and couple of bugs and improvement required. So from my point of view, I cannot believe that the game is a complete mess, but I see a lot of news and posts about bad quality on xbox one and ps4. Well, I understand they promised a game on such old consoles, but come on, the level of complicity is far beyond that old consoles can do. For example baldurs gate 3 will be on the new consoles only (and pc). So the only fail of cpr is in commiting the game to the old consoles also.
Yea imagine releasing a game on 7 platforms at the same time! They didn't have to do that, but we would have bitched if they didn't. That was too ambitious IMO. PC, and new gen consoles only would have been more reasonable.
Saying the game is a complete mess ... not in my experience with lowest end rec. specs on PC.
I feel very alone when you notice the citizens don't do anything, or when you see repeats of the same NPC walking down the block. What interaction do you have with them? Why do the cops ignore the gang members robbing a vendor? The list goes on.

It genuinely annoys me that more Youtubers arent reporting on this. it needs to be called out and the bugs need to stop over shadowing it. the reddit seems to be the only place this is happening.

I just saw NPCs:
on their computer, taking a selfie, smoking, eating, drinking, doing Tai Chi, holding each other, preaching (and listening), on a phone call, using their phone and tablet, someone dumpster diving, playing guitar, and I've seen someone peeing.
I agree the interaction with the player is nil - and cops are a big flop, but as I walk around I see people doing all kinds of activities - not like the quote you mentioned, but they aren't doing "nothing"
Agreed. This game uses mechanics from games that were made decades ago. There's no innovation. It's all just shit-smeared Deus Ex Human Revolutions gameplay with ray tracing.
Well yeah, there's the crux of it all. Even if you compare to a game that came out 10 years ago it still falls flat!
Even Far Cry 3 had a bit more going on under the hood, which is a scary prospect to consider.
But only really began in March. What happened for the 7 years before that?
I think there's a lot of transparency from CDPR that is completely lacking.
I don't think they're going to admit anything beyond "Our game has bugs, whoops". I highly doubt they're going to say "Yeah this game is barebones and makes The Witcher 2 look next gen." When that's the reality. The Witcher 2 is still impressive compared to this.

Few have it... so... im fine here with my GTX... and no graphics insues... (but we can complain at nvidia forums too... they like sell things... every month...or...day...or...hour...).

They assumed their mistakes even on Saturday, the day after the game's worldwide release. They said they had underestimated the launch ... maybe the anticipation of something that was not polished, finished. But they did it a second time yesterday, by issuing a note. If executives pressured, perhaps, this is how it is
CD does not work alone, one thing is the RED engine, another, nvidia, AMD ... Sony ... all were fine, counting money until yesterday.
But it is not possible for us to blame the developers, creators of the game. The owners of the CD have already assumed that responsibility and did the least with it. No company has yet done what they did, perhaps Ubi in Montreal, CR (Star Citizen) and exclusively. The others don't even give the hours ...
Where's the game you saw in the trailers? On high end P.C's where it always was.
No I don't own a high spec P.C. I'm playing it on console and while its buggy as hell and crashes frequently I'm still enjoying it.
The writing for the main story and the major side quests is great, the core combat mechanics work and once they fix the bugs I think this will be an awesome game.
I never expected the game to look like the highly polished trailers that were released.
