gonna be on an rtx2060 laptop, good enough for minimum ray tracing and hopefully even on 1440p. full PC build is not yet possible at the moment so I'll have to settle for mobile gaming.

Nvidia GTX 1660 Super got a new Gaming PC early in the year just for Cyberpunk 2077.

My old card was still using old intel graphics lol

AMD Sapphire Vega 56 Pulse 8GB HBM2 - OC + UV + timings tweaked

Fire Strike - graphics score 23457
Time Spy - graphics score 7286

I want to play in WQHD med/high, of course i do tweak the game too :D
Reshade with CAS.fx and Smart_Sharp.fx and other tweaks.

EVGA GTX 1080 SC2, I wanted to upgrade to a 3080 but you know how that's going. I think I will skip this generation too and wait for RTX 4xxx series, my 1080 is still chewing through every game I throw at it.

Someone would be kind and conform which (i alreadyknow) that is my rig can run this masterpiece on a: i9 9900k/ddr4 2666 32gb ram/ sams. 970 EVO Plus 1tb/(and sadly) gtx 970? I build my pc just for this game and just the last thing is missing! Which impossible to get now is the vcard! Someone can reply for me with a shard of hope?

oh man, what a state of affairs...
I assume you were going with some 3080 / 3080ti or AMD 6800 equiv? Also whats your monitor, what res?

If i were you i would either:

a) Wait til you get your hands on the GPU you wanted (3080ti is coming supposedly in jan. stock? who knows) Surely 3080s will be available by then. Id try to narrow down, speak to suppliers when stock is coming and preorder the GPU.

B) If you can't wait, get your hands on a 2nd hand 2080ti or 1080ti and sell when stock of the above comes in. Youll lose a bit of $ for the privilege but whats $100-200 at end of day? A night on the piss in town.

One thing for sure i would not do is play it with such a GPU on 1440p. Remember those dodgy days of screener movie torrents? someone filming in the cinema?
No thanks, ill wait for high fidelity release or ideally see it in the cinema.

I have a freacking 980 and it's gonna run, and good! (since it seems nvidia doesn't want to sell me a 3080....)

Really sucks, as I have the money for an RTX 3090, but I'm grateful that I'll be starting out with my 'ole reliable 4-yr-old GTX 1080, I'm just glad I'll be able to enjoy high/ultra settings @ 1080p but would have loved to fully use my 1440p 144hz monitor for the full RTX experience, looks like I'll have to wait until 2021 for that privilege, BTW I did not vote for that very reason as my wallet's willing but the stock is weak!

May all the scalpers eat shit neck-deep in the sewer!

2080Ti. Lets see how it works at 3440x1440p.
Ironically, I originally started saving up for a 2080ti purchase, until the 3090 was announced!

Now I have enough to buy either of them, (Though I'll have to wait 'til 2021 before I can get one!) but I'll definitely get the 3090 as I'm a 3D artist/content creator/multi-tasker/gamer in that order as that 24gb VRAM is the whole selling point for me, the gaming performance is just the cherry on top!

See how the 3080ti is. (Jan ETA) The 3090 'should' be better at content creation but supposedly hasnt gone as well vs their counterparts as the old titans did.
