Yes. I plan on starting on the highest to get all/most trophies in one go. In my opinion if you start out on hard you'll get used to it and on second playthrough to get achievements you missed drop the difficulty and feel way more overpowered xD.

Probably starting at Death March but taking it down a level if it gets to difficult and boring to advance on the story.

No. I plan to start with the second most difficult level first. To get familiar with the game get an idea how things play then after I have farted about for a day or two I will start again and that will be my first play through which is planned to be Death march but I might suck at the new combat.

I usually train on 2nd hardest, do my first full game on the hardest level, then other play throughs i play on the 2nd hardest with RPGs. I want to be able to relax for the RPG elements on my secondary runs.

Pretty sure there wasn't permadeath on the Death March difficulty in the twitch Q&A. They subsequently reloaded and set difficultly to just the story for Miles.

Anyone know the differences between Blood and Broken Bones and Death March? I was going to play on Blood and Broken Bones but the Gamespot review said to play it on a difficulty setting higher than you had planned... but I don't want to be putting myself into a slaughter if thats the case. I am very good at games, but this will be my first Witcher game.
