The quality of discussions there was astonishingly high :D The worst was gamespot forum. I apologize to any of lurker/users from there, but the amount of troll threads was devastating. It looked like the entire community was divided into two groups: fanboys and trolls. Yet it never failed to make me laugh :D Good times.
[/QUOTE]
I did a good chuckle out of the "Lesbomancy" comment in the game. :D

As for Fanboys and Trolls, they are the bain of Moderators ( at least on some boards that care about the quality of the boards ). I don't particularly find them amusing and deal with them accordingly. They usually ruin the experience for the other members of the forum.

Well it's not popular enough to be on there. Also, that website is worse than TVtropes, seriously.

The Kayran one... lol! So true. And of course lesbomancy would become a meme...

Ah, I didn't realize it was about Witcher-related memes. My bad.

Shhhhh....we gals know this to be true however why spoil the fun the guys would have while trying to navigate a keyboard with 2 in claws?

Perhaps sending the guys somewhere to get their 'acrylics' added.

P.S. Welcome all to the Asylum, no matter the forum you originate from.

I support a thread with Witcher memes originating from /v/ or any other place and I'd also contribute with the ones I have saved on my computer. :) It would be nice to expand my collection. :D

I believe claws is an apt description of the acrylic nails. :D As I said, I've had Girlfriends who had them put on and my back looked like Geralt's after a time and that is as far as I'm going. :D

It happens. Although I'm spared the maintenance issues relating to acrylics as I grow my own.

I believe we have hijacked 227's thread. Do you think he'll notice?

I think he disappeared, but I was thinking the same thing. As I remember they were incapable of growing their nails because 1) they were too brittle and broke easily or 2) they wouldn't quit bitng them. Growing your own still takes a bit of maintenance though ( all that filing and stuff ). :p

Nah, no need to file them if have a nice arch to them. let them grow and file only to shape the ends. Remember roman arches are quite strong.

Yep and it is done. Unfortunately that group has a ton of domain names. Got to find out if it is the same IP and if so, if they can be banned by IP instead. Sure would make life easier.

Yeah, this bunch just keeps on coming. Not as bad as the other forum I moderate. We got covered up in POrn Spam over there. At PCWorld.com, we do have some things built in to make our jobs easier as we limit the number of dailey posts for new members. Before, they would come in and drop 50+ spam posts in a hurry ( spam bots I believe ).

From the original forum. I left it for a while and then returned just before it broke. But I deny any responsibility for that.

You do have a therapist to help you deal with them or is that who gave you the ban hammer? ;)

I seem to recall her having posted that as well. GOG was a great place to hang in the interim though but not the same as our own dedicated play area.
