Hm I had both Judy/Panam romanced enhanced installed already without issues in the patches before 1.62, but actually installed deceptions quest core with 1.62 to have "idle anywhere" work. Now I wonder if that might be the culprit.
it is not that mod as i do not have it and i am getting flatlined
Well the only other mods i share with the user above in that case are:
TweakXL
ArchiveXL
RED4ext
which would be a lil odd as culprit to having a direct impact on that one specific quest. Considering these are more or less just core mods which allow other script specific mods to work.
TBH i think it must be a game issue as i removed all my mods even the files reinstalled the game and still got the issue
Yeah, to be honest i am out of ideas. Every time i seem to get closer to pinpoint the issue (if its mod related) someone else with the same bug, but a DIFFERENT setup of mods turns up to pretty much throw it out of the window.
I can just hope at that point that every person which has that bug is sending tickets to CDPR and they manages to figure it out (if vanilla or mod issue and if mod WHICH mod), especially considering it seems to affect such a large amount of players (judging by the daily comments on the temporary youtube video fix and the likes).
Yeah, its actually funny in 1.63 they fixed bugs which were in the game for MONTHS. Ebunike for example and the Judy bug they actually fixed was something which could pop up for peeps from the time the game was released.
So considering its still unclear if that "new" bug is caused by mods or an issue in vanilla i am getting the feeling it will take a while for them to fix it too. Seeing (for me personally) mods are one of the reasons i still play and enjoy the game i kinda wish CDPR and the mod community would find a better way to work together to figure stuff out.

It seems to be related to different quest checks not being added correctly when/after receiving the call for Pyramid Song.
I was actually having it off of the list of possible causes even when it originally was one of my first suspects because the mod maker said that it couldnt be possible this mod back in the day. Maybe he/she finally had the time to play the game again 1.62+ and test out the issue themselves. So i cant really blame them for taking a while to figure it out, considering its quite a late game quest (where u have to replay a large chunk of the game to reach it) and the mod seemingly never caused that issue in the patches before. I am myself using it for many many playthroughs without any larger hiccups, because its such a QoL mod. I personally would be very happy if this indeed is the culprit and we can finally move on from it and enjoy the quest again fully.

It would be interesting if his mod fix works (it is supposed to fix the issue, but can't fix saves where the old mod version was installed before.
In any case the Judy Romanced Enhanced mod would work fine even if it gets installed only after completion of Pyramid Song.

Yeah, to be honest with the massive changes to equipment, weapons and especially skills and skill trees i kinda see it as mostly unavoidable to start the game over from the beginning when Phantom Liberty drops.
And considering the issue seems to be pin pointed now and the majority of mods will have to be reworked too to run smoothly with all these changes i am sure modders will do their best to sort out most of these kinks by the time.
I am already prepared that i prolly will (re)play the game and dlc a few weeks after they release to make sure all my mods are properly updated for them. lol

As of now, it seems the Judy Romanced Enhanced mod is responsible for the bug and the creator offered some info and solutions to "fix" the issue.

Which only appear to help on a new playthrough as of now however.
The provided workarounds for existing savegames did not work for me.
For me the workaround in the youtube video i linked (first posting here) "worked" for the time being, but it still kinda ruined the mood for the quest. lol
I am planing to restart the game anyway when they drop the patch with the huge changes to skills/perks and the likes. So for me personally i am happy that we finally managed to pin point the issue and hopefully it doesnt pop up again in the future patches.
Can we please get a fix for this MAJOR bug? I'm in my first ever playthrough and I can't complete the best side mission, hence the game, until this stops being ignored.
Nothing CDPR can do. The mod Judy Romanced Enhanced is the reason and if the posted solutions on the mod page or the YouTube solution doesn't work for u, u will have to restart ur game from any save before getting any Judy quests or from the beginning.
What mod? Who used a mod? I've seen posts on Reddit and elsewhere regarding this issue from people who haven't used a mod.
