is this the elf from the gameplay trailer? " look at her ears... she-elf" ?

i assume she is scoia'tael, because she wears green and the arrows,
who is she? is there a name? how and where do we find her?

I think they're completely different people. They have a similar hairstyle, but I think their eyes are a different colour and their face shape is different actually that's pretty similar too. I don't know, in short.

This is one of the few NPC faces I really dont like, her eyes are freaking huge, and her mouth too, compared to the size of the head/face. She looks much more fitting for Dragon Age than TW because of this slight "cartoonization". The graphics are incredible though, and the clothes too.

I don't think she's the same as the one in Oxenfurt, so and I dont remember from the books honestly.

It does, a "waifu" is basically the anime character you feel would be best suited to be your wife, you know, if only she was real. It's a little sad.

Since I didn't side with the Scoia'tael in the first game (and thus she's dead) I hope she's someone new.

@ploughmore Yeah, same face with different facial hair = different NPC. It's not the character from the Precious Cargo walkthrough.

The issue with this elvish character is that sometimes characters do change clothes for different parts of story. So it is possible that these two ladies are the same person. I keep looking back at the image comparison and I feel like she is the same person and sometimes she's not. Chances are they are completely different folk and we're just speculating like mad people.

Agreed.
But maybe with a different armor. In TW2 I couldn't stop my eyes from dropping down every once in a while, if you know what I mean. That peasants dream was a hilarious joke. This peasant guy....... *shaking head*

But in all seriousness, she was one of the prettiest (and also narratively best) characters created in the whole series IMO.
