Why are all my clothes suddenly too high level to wear?

Check your characters appearance, it's probably been changed as well... and they couldn't even add a surgeon with the patch

Thanks all for the answers, I think the issue undoubtedly does result from my use of Spawn0 mods, and you are all correct in that I have not recently updated those, and using an older version, so the next step will be to visit the mod page and try to do that and see if this issue vanishes. Will update, thanks all for advice,
