Why are we getting double rewards when taking someone down and then killing them

I always felt this was a bug, cause it connects to the problem when you scan someone, then it shows 10 and 15 on credits and street cred, then you look away and scan them again, the value can sometimes change.

No matter if the value changes on scan or not, you shoot them while "sleeping" after a takedown, you get a new reward of street creed and normal XP.

This system feels its have some problems and over-reward the player.

Yup, it is definitely an oversight. You get double xp, SC and in case of Gigs where you take the guy dead of alive, you also get double mission rewards from Regina. It is specially "effective" in netrunner builds, where you quickhack non-lethally then just headshot or slash the unconscious enemy. Also makes leveling up Cold Blood pretty fast, as it also counts as a "kill" and stacks.

I feel it probarly known to devs but not a prio in bug fixing.
 
Because you are incapacitating them and killing them 2 different things 2 different exp
 
the normal exp shouldn't probably remain, but even if an oversight, the street cred and especially additional cold blood exp you get is justified imo. it's pretty damn cold blooded to kill a guy in well cold blood. and people are far more likely to fear a guy who goes around slaughtering people who aren't even a threat.
