Why can't we use jump while fighting?

The question only comes to mind since there are so many occasions that I got stuck on objects while on a fight, especially with flying creatures (forgot the names). This also happened in a swampy part where I got stuck in a ditch and couldn't get out of it since the "fighting sequence" was on. I have already finished the game once, and would like to know if this will be addressed someday in the future (currently on my second play through of the game).

Thanks.

I wish we could.. but the other buttons are being used for dodge and roll... I was hoping we could do a jump attack like the one Geralt does in TW2, oh well...

This is so true however its the way The Witcher 3 was designed. We can suggest this one to CDPR so they can add it as another feature to the game.

Your totally right about that. I guess its just bad luck that I had in about 7-10 battles where I got stuck. I hope that on this second run it won't be as bad.

Yea I completely hate the fact that you can't jump once you are in "combat mode..." cuz if you get stuck at a slightly lower elevation with drowners attacking you from all directions, you are a sitting duck...this happened so many times that I cannot even count.

Yup Jump get's my vote too. They should have thought things out a bit more. Seriously did it not occur to anyone that you could get stuck behind scenery and objects. Or that you don't need a candle beside a loot chest. How do you get a game to completion and not figure this stuff out?
