I thought about this, and the more I pondered, the more I understood why they restricted the option to run around the streets with your dong flapping. The fact that they put child NPCs in the game, and the untasteful screenshots that could result from letting players free-ball it in the city.
My personal issue is how lackluster the scenes are when you're in a private setting with a consenting NPC. I wouldn't even be as disappointed with there being so few choices of sexual partners if it wasn't the same exact cutscene every time you go back to them.
Overall, the sexual interactions you do get are pretty generic... 10 second montages that the player has no control over. Don't get me wrong - I didn't expect it to be full on hard-core sex, but I guess I was hoping for something a little more interactive. Possibly make a minigame out of it. Let the player choose the positions, the aggression (Meredith seems like she likes it rough) where it happens (bed/floor/etc.) and maybe cues about if your partner is enjoying your choices and giving you the option to switch it up accordingly?

AFAIK, child NPCs are invisible in photomode... besides that, they are just scaled down adult NPCs anyways. So, that's a non-reason.
I see. I was unaware about child NPCs being invisible in photo-mode, which is a good solution to get around the problem. The part about them looking like miniature adults is irrelevant, though. Also, if I could continue to play devils advocate - the photo mode thing doesn't address the issue of players posting live gameplay of sexually suggestive activity with NPCs.
Maybe, it's still an asinine, drummed up problem, though... the actual reason most people have an issue with the censored nudity is, that the game was marketed as being adult themed, as well as the censorship being done so badly that it ends up completely immersion breaking. The internet if full of actual porn, who cares about a few trolls doing da funny video?

I still think the decision was largely about the child NPCs. Only logical reason I can come up with. Not sure why they're even in the game. Who the hell would let their kid walk around unattended in that kind of setting to begin with?
Well they cut basically EVERYTHING down to the bare minimum... so why would the adult content not be cut?
Hm, for realisms sake, I guess... agreed, though, their AI should either attach them to an adult or pull them into a larger group (school class, street urchin gang). The way they are implemented right now is... meh.
The answer is it seems like they had plans to include a lot more one night stands and possibly more love interests but they rushed it out for Christmas. Almost all of the game's flaws are pretty much attributable to the fact this is probably a year early in development. Personally, I'm all for them adding some more one night stands as additional content.

Hello everyone. In my opinion, what matters is not whether the game has sexual content or not, but the freedom of choice in the game. The game is multiple choice, but removing the content of nudity and sex, the game is no longer multiple choice, each player chooses his destiny, for better or for worse, this is freedom. I would like the creators to rethink this, because I believe that everyone has their opinions and this game would suit everyone. Thanks.
Firstly, if you are buying this game for a child then that raises some red flags and someone really ought to look into that. It is very much for adults as is evident by it's ESRB rating. So what you are asking for isn't a game for adults it's softcore porn. What is sad is a company founded on RPG's. Released what I thought was gonna be the RPG of the decade with the most pathetic romance options with no tastefully done nudity or story with the exception of judy...utterly pathetic..

It's more of a rating restriction thing. R18 or AO restricts where the product can be sold, and where its contents can be streamed.
For example here we have the CERO rating, similar to ESRB but more restrictive, from A rated (puppy rainbow unicorn for everyone) all the way up to the heads flying blood drinking Z 18+ rated.
But there's also the special 'hentai ' category , which fails to pass the rating system usually due to strong adult / porn content , and can only be sold in adult shops carrying special licenses . And can not be released on consoles .

A way for V to cope with all the loss and in a twisted way Johnny tipping the scale just a little bit more into his persona.
On the other hand, it would give V and us the option to create additional touchstones. People we could care, not because they are written in the main story, but we chose to do so. More to lose penultimately at the end. One more relation gone forever if we can't save us. Can't find a way to make peace with Johnny and our life.
Thinking Sex and Nudity is simply porn or dating-sim is a bit too narrow for my taste.
Actually, some nations will block a game from sale if it cannot EARN an 18+ rating & some have multiple times DEMANDED it be TONED down to receive it. I think some folks ignore their own nations nonsense..
My nation simply has another rating called Adults Only, which allows anything else, deemed too far for an M for 17+ rating.
The same thing that pretty much every other game developer does. they wuss out. You have to remember sex/nudity are look as porn, so they have to walk a fine line so to appease certain people. Also if the game had to much nudity/sex in it xbox and playstation wouldnt allow it on the systems.

They did it with the original Witcher, once their contract with the PC distributor ended..
Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, have made game companies even keep quiet about what's censored or would revoke contract. You sell a game in that on console, try to have fun doing it. I'm sure the developers who poured their hearts out, aren't having fun here.
