Why is Geralt American?

Why is Geralt American?

Almost every other character I have met so far in this game has a European accent, so why does Geralt have an American accent if he is a native of these lands. Silly question I know and I ask it with tongue firmly in cheek, but just wanted to hear others thoughts on this.

Actually, Geralt is described in the books having an Rivian accent which he practiced a lot in when he was a learning to be witcher. SO no, he is not supposed to speak entirely in the same manner as Temerians and Redenians around him.

Basicaly America is the biggest audiesnce so it is geared towards there. Have you noticed the incorrect spelling of colour in the texts?
