Yes, exactly this.Flying heads and spraying blood is such a pretty sight, KILLING is gooood, loving is bad and that is not totally screwed up how??People that think their natural body parts are disgusting, should get rid of them. It's disgusting and disturbing to me that people think of themselves like that - what kind of monster do you have to be to be so self loathing? And no, I've heard enough of "MY parts are Gods gift to the world, but everybody elses are evil". Is there any logic at all to this irrational behavior on this thread? We've already established several times that nobody demands a porno or dangly bits. But what's the problem with a naked butt and a sexy scene in a pond? How's that mixing things together? Everything else has to be realistic, like blood and gore. But the natural things in life don't have a place in an M rated RPG? That's so warped. I mean, I'm not a fan of fist fighting, but I will do it because it's a part of the whole thing and I won't get nightmares about it or something. I'll even rejoyce when I've made a really good kill - and will be high on adrenaline and my witcher testosterone will run high, too and will look for an outlet... ;) :DWhat's so hard about just going with the flow and let yourself be surprised and check out your prejudices before playing? If you can't take it, go play Gothic - they don't even have females.

Actually, the witcher universe from the books is quite sexist.

america was founded by puritans, remember? all the uptight religious assholes left to start a new country. :pnicely explains why europe is more sensible than we are when it comes to standards of sex and violence. ;)

No. The first English settlers in North America were treasure hunters hoping to compete with Spain's looting of what is now Mexico and Central and South America (and quite a few of islands as well). The Puritans came shortly after, however...also from Europe. There's always enough silliness and brutality to go around. ;)

Europe is a big continent not all countries are alike so I can only speak from where a live and believe me when I say that the north-American tv series have more amount of sex and violence then any tv series produce here. So I am not so sure about you guys being more puritans then us.

I think I agree with DelightfulMcCoy on this one. It's ridiculous. Now days there is sex everywhere./duh/ I mean... comercial on tv no matter for what are with some hot chick. Than TV shows and than shitty music with lyrics about sex porn everywhere. But if we see a nipple in game. The game will be raped with its developers. I always admired the stupidity of americans. Some of them.

Hi to all, haven't read all the thread so I don't know if this have been said before, but Triss can magically undress herself (thats what I understand from some scenes of the trailers) unlike Geralt who has to do it "old school".

Fundamentalists like that piss me off. Can't they do the world a favour and jump off a bridge or something? Not been following the discussion but have read the first and last page. I fully agree there are a lot of double standards going around. Killing people in the most brutal way is fine and dandy, both in games and on TV, but show a nipple and all the forces in the universe seem to unite in wanting you cast out of society. With that in mind I think CDPR are very brave to show Triss with a bare chest, nipples and all visible. I can only salute them for that, assuming these shots will actually be in the game (we know political campaigns can do nasty things, sadly, and have sway over rating and PR). But I must say it is odd if Geralt will be wearing pants in all the nude scenes, instead of showing his butt for example. Showing his penis is a big no-no, I think we all understand that. This is a mature game, it's not porn. But I don't really get why he can't show some skin when they have the balls to show Triss naked. Pictures look fantastic though, can't wait to the game is out :)

I'd say it would be fine, and certainly more romantic, for him to be naked. The scenes we've seen images of so far look elegant enough that it wouldn't be totally over the top to see him naked. As long as Triss isn't sucking on it or anything, I say go for it.

Pangaea apparently some want to see Geralts other silver sword. Also theres a shot in which Triss is sleeping and Geralts is with pants. Maybe they have finished and he is just watching her? >.>But then theres other when she is awake and still....

Why is showing a penis porn and showing a vulva is brave? I don't get your logic. As long as there is no erection there should be no problem.

You know, I bit my tongue. Hard. To not ask this exact same question. Because my logic is running up against windmills anyway.I think on top of the double standard, there is a definition problem and I'm getting more and more the impression that some of the people posting here might be too young to be allowed to know porn. OR play The Witcher. Just saying. ;)

That's very interesting, I've never really looked at the books that way - but then Geralt just comes across as an average flawed human to me, not a hero as such. And Yennefer just annoys me because I find it hard to believe that a woman has to be a total b***h to actually get ahead in the world - though hey, they do say nice guys finish last, which seems to be as true of this world as I suspect it would be in the world of the witcher...Where the double standards are concerned, I think CDP are being very gutsy to show Triss starkers - the double standard is not their fault, they can only do so much to get around it without committing commercial suicide, after all. I shall refrain from any kind of passing judgement until I've got a copy of the game in my grubby little mitts and have had the chance to play it for a good while :) It looks wonderful so far though!

Kudos!Well there we have it, a totally naked Geralt. Eleven pages of waste. Just have to hope now they release it as tasteful and not as an animated porn movie. Then again.... It would be fun to see the reaction if they did.
