Why is my game running so well?

Probably not the sort of thing you've been hearing but this is really confusing me. From what I've seen people saying my game should not be running as well as it is with my setup: http://i.imgur.com/ZZd44Qf.png

I'm running at 1080p with most things on ultra, hairworks off, and some of the post processing effects turned off (I don't care for motion blur, vignetting etc). And I'm mostly getting 57-60 FPS all the time. From what I'm being told by other people this just doesn't make sense. So either FRAPs is lying to me (although it certainly doesn't feel like I'm playing much below 60) the in game menu is lying to me and it's not at ultra (unlikely I feel) or these people who seem to know much more than me about computers have built bad computers somehow. It's really baffling.

The only technical issue I'm having, and it is a big one, is frequent crashes when I spend a long time in the inventory which probably isn't due to my GPU being overtaxed!

I'm confused. Are you asking for ways to decrease performance, or just gloating in the tech support forum that you aren't having certain technical issues?

You have GTX 970. What's the problem? This card eats this game (apart from Hairworks which you have off) for breakfast in 1080p.
I have the same card, and I easily have ~60 fps most of the time without Hairworks, but I play with it on, so I have drops to 40 sometimes.

As to crashes in inventory, try setting your fps limit to "unlimited". Also enable Hardware Cursor. It seems to have fixed the issue for me.

Not understanding it myself,but the game has issues across all variations of X86(X64) hardware,so consoles much included.

There's always a risk when using SLI,CF configurations,it usually takes a while before things get ironed out.

@Gespenst - I'm glad that the game is running well for you, as it probably is for most people. But on any game launch, there will be people who DO experience problems, and it's best to leave the Tech Support section to them.
