Why Many Players Not Giving GG

+
I never GG for the following people

-People who play Scoia Tael
-People who play Nilfgaard
-People who play Skellige
-People who play Northern Realms
-People who play Monsters

just had a tense MS weather vs MS consume one clever counter play after another despite having everything i needed at my disposal he beat me, was about to give him a heart felt GG but instead of going to the result screen the fcking game got stuck on the board and i had to alt cntl del. yea that happens too... looked like a jacka** while i didn't even have the control. first time ever happened to me
game works like a charm when i feel oppoenet won cheap though. the middle finger goes to the game itself.

I feel like I get the least amount of GG when I play my MS weather. Even if my opponent won, I can tell that they were despising my counters and breaking their combo chains.

i was the weather player there and he gave me a GG but i couldn't which made the pain so much worse. i consider decks and players who can pull off wins despite facing a tight control deck respectable, if RNG doesn't fck me and you counter/dodge most of my controls then you deserve something more than a GG (his counters were not cheap clear skies either, i probably made some mistakes and my deck isn't 100% optimized toward weather spam but i just felt good about it)

I never GG on an empty stomach ;)

On a more serious note, though, I don't give GGs for showing off when it's clear I've lost. I'm not interested in 'clever tactics' or the amount of points I can be crushed with if it has zero impact on the outcome of a game. I mean, you win - I lose, thank you, g'night.

Those who insist on showing the size of their phalluses can always join a friend with similar needs for a casual game and display their 'might' however they please.

Sheesh, what is wrong with everybody. C'mon peepers, this is the the internet, the zenith of civilisation and decorum. Oh, and cat pics and porn. I always, always, good game my opponent.

Having said that, I do have a couple of angry-wank triggers (to be edited later by a mod) that will result in no "gg".
  • If you're left-handed
  • If you're a left-handed albino
  • If I think you're surfing porn and playing
  • If I think you're not playing and surfing porn simultaneously
  • If you play Yencon
  • If you play Yencon, that beats my Yencon
  • If you emote, "Bet this will come as a surprise", when it absolutely won't
  • When you emote more than once a game
  • If I am distracted by something shiny and forget
  • If you don't give me a redpoint for this post
  • If your name is Henry Grosmont
  • If you play NR and beat me
  • If you "abuse" tactics like SC ambush that beats my SC ambush "abuse"
  • If you look at me funny
  • If I suspect you might have looked at me funny
  • If you look dodgy
  • If you have a poor credit rating
  • If you support {insert local joke sporting team here}
  • If I've already gg'ed you once in a 5 day period
  • If you think of a Gwent play that I've never thought of before, which I will steal later on and claim it's mine
  • If one of your cat pics posted in the favourite card topic is funnier than mine

I could go on all day. Peace.

So, basically ... just me.

I, GG like 99% of the time, but some players are just douche bags, so then I punish them by not sending a GG...

I always send GG unless I lose both rounds or opponent takes their time to play out their entire hand when he's won already.

How about almost timing out every turn?

Also, Have you seen high ranks playing meta on Casual these days? Lmao. That a no-no to me as well.

I'm sorta new and don't play "other" card games so I've just kind of made my interpretation of GG as the way sports teams line up and slap hands after a game. It's just a way of sportsmanship?

Because of this, I share your views. I only ever pass the GG if I feel I'm being grief'd or if someone is playing an obvious metadeck on casual. I simply concede those matches.

It would be nice if they could match make according to deck strength and not rank alone.

I've lost count how many times I couldn't GG because the button wasn't there. I noticed it happens when my opponent concedes early in the game, but there were still a lot of matches where I didn't have the button and nobody conceded.

I play on two accounts, one is high rank and the other is new, completely f2p (wanted to test things and see how new players are treated by the game).
Gwent is also my first CCG but I apply my Poker etiquette here, as much as possible of course.

I don't think that rank matchmaking is applied on Casual.

I honestly GG everybody no matter how good or bad they play. Its to keep good spirit in the game. For example if you watch hockey on television, no matter how much the opponents hate each other they still shake on it after the game(could be taken as a GG) in the good spirit of the game.

To be honest I actually once didn't GG a player because I was in a bad mood, but it made me feel bad after :(

I found a new reason to not GG today. I am usually a person who will, but I was playing and had clearly lost. I passed. They took forever (nearly down to the last 1 or 2 seconds.) To play every card in their hand. I of course forfeited before they got to the end.

Bottom line if you've won and are just interested in purposefully trying to waste my time and rub it in, I consider you to be a bad sport and as such will not send you a "Good Game", as that would imply sportsmanship was had both ways.

I always gg, simple as that. It's just good sportsmanship, regardless if you win or loose.
That being said i don't get the people who don't. It doesn't cost you anything and you help another player.

Just gg....and if the other doesn't.....life goes on......

Besides, if they don't thing you deserve a gg, well, that is why the option is there!
