Why no daily crowns in arena?

Arena is actually pretty fun (why though do you pick leader AFTER you pick your deck... especially now with this new update, we really should get to choose leader first).
Why though are daily crowns restricted to normal play?

Probably because of this.
Arena really is its own world (especially with Gaunter in charge of it...).

As for the suggestion, it has popped up from time to time, and also has a dedicated thread here.

Honestly the no-crown gaining discourages me from Arena in severe way.

It also counts progress towards all non arena contracts... So not sure why the crowns wouldn't also count
