Why was braindance removed, especially since we can buy braindances?

It's one of the 20 other cut features that were butchered out the game so the shareholders and the CDPR bosses could get their money this year. They failed or didn't bother to remove placeholder assets all over the map and in certain quests. As soon as the main linear story was done they rushed it to release cutting all the open world features they been discussing in videos over this year and previous years. There's signs they started the features and cut em off like raw nerves.

The only thing groundbreaking about this game is the amount of placeholder assets left in like raw pieces of code to be discovered.

This game was advertised to people like it would be a open world RPG in a living city with plenty to do outside of missions. All of it was cut. The police wanted level system, Vehicle and NPC AI are still in Alpha state. This game was released while still in Alpha and there's no excuse for it.

If they wanted to release a linear story without a open world than it should have been advertised as such and built to accommodate that. The story doesn't even ask any thought provoking questions like many sci-fi games/films that deal with human augmentation, cyborgs, AI and robots.


This should have been CD-PR's Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5 or Fallout 4. Instead we got Mass Effect Andromeda.

Lol yep, i thought the same. Can't even see my character get head and why are mirrors not just mirrors, why do you specifically need to look. Defeats the point of the RTX

2021, cyberpunk turns into hardcore porn simulator because of dodgy BD vendor in game, some of the titles are obvious you wouldn't be able to watch them and even be banned in some countries, so they are just props for thee world clearly. Did you really think you could watch something as dark as the titles on the BD's in the game?

That's actually not true. You have way more penis customization in conan in terms of size and shape.
There is even physics on the balls, people made videos about it.

Char customization in general is the same. Unless you specifically go look and activate a mirror, or drive in 3rd person.

There are lot of content CDRprojekt was not able to add for intern reasons we are not aware. It can be legal issues for countries, logistical issues, ressources human issues, or contracts issues with investors or partners etc...
It's not that CDRprojekt doesn't want to add contents and all features they showed us nor they are evil. It' s more complex with partners discussion, right, and some logistical plannnig.

i think the story was good without being too cringey or pretentious. it might be derivative of do androids dream, but it's a different spin. instead of replicants, it's ai singularity and deep learning being able to replicate a human mind to a degree that is indistinguishable from the real thing.

and to be frank, what other sci fi game has actual thought provoking stories? i don't know of any. rockstar games are equivalent to mindless pop corn flicks.

If they had to cut BD functionality out due to not being able to complete it, or implement the game mechanic/feature into the final product, I feel they absolutely have to bring them back! It's such a large part of the cyberpunk culture as well as the tabletop game itself.

Kinda blows me away this actually isn't a game mechanic/feature.
