Well they are just doing their jobs. And the fact that they drink heavily indicates that they do find the experience stressful and unpleasant.Wait how do not hate witch hunters???????
They are small minded overly zealous religious fanatics, basically the worst kind of people in the world. Did you not see what they did to a certain sorceress? or all the burnings at the stack? Harmless dopplers, alchemists and any other learned or magically inclined individual. Dude they burn books in the streets, THEY BURN BOOKS!!!
Evil all evil, wish there where more named important ones for me to kill.
Well maybe some find it stressful, but for the vast majority, gauging from random bits of dialogue on the streets and actually interacting with some of them during missions I think that argument kinda falls flat. Entering the prison they all too eager to to get straight to the torture, did you see the state of a certain prisoner? The fact that once the mages are gone they start burning non humans at the stake, because well they can.....Well they are just doing their jobs. And the fact that they drink heavily indicates that they do find the experience stressful and unpleasant.
The armor would be awesome in brown like the ones the witch hunters wear, but pink looks ridiculous, stupid design choice by the devs in my opinion. It's also missing the little pocket for documents or something next to the badge, looks kinda less official without itMy favorite is still the witch hunter one from the master armorers quest. It looks realistic (i.e. not gratuitously detailed like the new wolf one), and is a trench-coat rather than just a jacket.

Please, for the love of God, I don't care at all about any of the DLC released so far. Just give us Geralt's "true" clothes, CDPR. Give us the possibility to stay true to the iconic look of the White Wolf, from both the books and Witcher 1 (and in parts, also TW2). I don't understand at all why you didn't already give us such an option in TW3. That's infuriating tbh, really infuriating. There is nothing wrong with giving people more options. But that shouldn't lead to forcing people to play with a Geralt that feels weird and just unfitting. You know the books. You said you love them. You should know that a lot of people who really love them as well have a very firm picture in their head of how Geralt looks. Of course there are subtle differences, naturally, but there are common elements pretty much everybody agrees on. You nailed that look in Witcher 1 and also in Witcher 2 (as proven in the screens above, just in case you forgot your own creations...). He pretty much looked like the monster hunter Sapkowski described in his books there. Don't seperate Geralt in Witcher 3 from the guy in Witcher 1 and 2 and the books on purpose. Give us the possibility to be just like him - besides the options to roleplay and be somebody else. You know it's because I love the Geralt from previous works and I want to play with him. There is no purpose to use an existing and fleshed out character in your game if you don't give the people the chance to really identify with him. An iconic look is just one way for such an identification, but it's a rather strong one, especially in a game in which you constantly look at your characters appearance. So pleaes, give us an armour set that just looks like book-Geralt. You did it before so why not now? I don't think that this is too much to ask...I think countering one absolute opinion with another like this is a bit counter-productive. A better solution to this problem would be to shove in a few armours reminiscent of Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 in addition to what we've already got. I mean, Lambert and Eskel are still wearing the traditional witcher stuff so evidently it's not crossed out of the franchise. It's just... missing. And should be added. Do you disagree?
I mean, looking at the most iconic looks from the two previous games, it's just something that isn't in The Witcher 3 at all. That is, I believe, what many people would like the option to play through the game with. The classic Geralt look. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have no problem with that. It was becoming freaking stupid.Back on-topic please. And yes, the off-topic discussion just deleted is likely to attract bans if it continues.
It would be nice to have the Kaer Morhen one simply scale up to the player, but I understand REDkit is needed for that.Im fine, especially cause of one appereance mod, wich makes the griffin armor to look like the Kaer Morhen Starter Armor.
So: Kaer Morhen -> Temerian -> Griffin (Kaer Morhen) -> Wolf Armor... iconic and witcherlike for me...especially the Wolf Armor is awesome.
I honestly thought the Wolf armour dlc would do just that. Many people used to call the KM armour "wolf"It would be nice to have the starting armor in upgradeable versions like the rest of the Witcher gear. No need for level scaling, just different sets to craft which could be slightly different in visuals, e.g. with some fur applications for the masterful version.
Wolf armour looks very different to the starting armor...I honestly thought the Wolf armour dlc would do just that. Many people used to call the KM armour "wolf"
Obviously before I discovered how it looked like.Wolf armour looks very different to the starting armor...
