I'd like to draw you attention to this little mod that will probably be released soon:

I think it looks fantastic, and if we all give the author bug reports to help him polish it once it is released I think it could be something really special.
The author is designing the mod so it can be used in tandem with STLM! :)

Hm...No . Vanilla even better, for me.

To all i uploaded version 5 before there is no fix for Winter WO in that version but, I updated link in first post with actual V55. Also i deleted sing tweaks to make it more compatible with mod mady by CAPA14 The Aard

Remind me, but did you include pollen mod and skellige weather (the one from CAPA) on your version?

He did, but they are very heavily modified. Pollens are pretty much taken out completely but effects such as leaves flying around and dust particles are noticeable during weather types that have a medium to high wind intensity.
On that note, all weather types have also been reworked. Wind is now much calmer in general (no heavily swaying trees in clear weather) except for storm-esque weathers in which you will definitely notice that "The wind's howling", in Geralts famous words xP

I hope some pollens will return, I really like those. :)

Current Issue List

known issues:

1. Winter WO: Character Lighting does not work in interiors (at least cave in well). (low priority)

2. Velen: Mountain range in background is overexposed - too bright white, should be more akin to STLM 3.1.1 original release. (high priority)

3. Velen: New brighter, colder lighting causes low-lod trees in background to be exposed and more noticeable. Not sure if fixable, low priority issue, minor nitpick (medium priority)

4. Skellige: Strange Bloom still present in sky during some weathers. (semi-high priority)

5. Kaer Morhen: Nights could be a little brighter - becomes issue with extreme darkness inside castle (high priority)

6. General: Some braziers emit too little light. (low priority)

7. General: Braziers still have noticeable light orb (low-medium priority)

Ideas:

1. Add Winter WO water to Skellige

Priority comments are based on my opinion, feel free to form your own Milos!

Also, for everyone reading this:
When making a bug report, please include a video or screenshot of the issue and preferably also include a save file for testing!
Also, if you feel I've missed anything, feel free to add to the list!

Cheers!

Thanks for V6 Mishikedman !

Went to check the mountain range bug and while it is less overexposed, imo it is still too white. If it's possible to tone it down a little more, than it should look perfect.

Here are two comparison pics (sorry for OSD, forgot to turn it off)

Edit: Noticed that while using witcher senses, they look much better, maybe we should aim for something like this : http://imgur.com/SFklsal

Hyadum i can tone it down, but color depends on sun position, if you meditate in set location you can se color change, also problem is present in stlm in certain time of day. I need to fine balance it more becuase reference location for me was whispering hillock and hangman tree.

I understand that. :) Personally it doesn't bother me that much but if it can get tuned that's great, if not then it's fine either way. Coming from V5_5 it's already a big improvement. :D

Does this mod completely do away with the lens flare effect from STLM 3.x? At the moment I'm unable to download it and see for myself in-game, so I have to ask because that is genuinely one of my favorite things about the latest version of the original mod.
