This game looks pretty cool, but i haven't been able to play previous games because i had ps3 and my computer isn't very good, will they consider doing it? I and many others would really enjoy it.
Thank you
As pointed above, currently CDPR lacks resourses to do such a thing. However, you still have options to get to know the characters and background lore.
First, The Witcher 1 is not such a demanding game, and your PC might be able to run it, even if it's somewhat old/weak (and I totally recommend trying to do this, the game is very good, although you might feel that the graphics are a bit dated and the combat is not stellar).
Second, even more importantly, you can read the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. They served as the foundation for the games.
If you're going to read the books (which I highly recommend), keep in mind the correct order (which coincides with the chronological order) in which to read them, since it might be a bit confusing. Here is the full chronological order, the plot of the games starts after the plot of the last book ends:
Books:
1. The Last Wish
2. Sword of Destiny
3. Blood of Elves
4. Times of Contempt
5. Baptism of Fire
6. The Tower of the Swallow
7. The Lady of the Lake
Games:
8. The Witcher
9. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
10. The WItcher 3: Wild Hunt
Sword of Destiny, Tower of the Swallow and Lady of the Lake are only available in English as fan translations,
here, but these translations are quite decent.
Note that CDPR officially stated that the plot of The Witcher 3 is rather self-contained, so you're not required to play previous games/read books. However, reading the books and playing at least The Witcher 1 would enhance the experience quite a lot, in my opinion. We already know that in The Witcher 3 we will meet many characters (including some very important ones) from the books. They will be introduced properly, of course, but having met them in the books beforehand would make the experience in the game much more special. And the books are very good by themselves, anyway.
